My cinema has pissed me off.
I just finished what can only be about half of Iron Man.
Everything was going fine in the movie until it started going backwards because some idiot had put the reel in upside down.
Until that point it was a really good movie.
On a funny note the Speed Racer trailer made a little girl cry.

That happened to me once - we were watching Kindergarten Cop. Did they give you a refund or anything?

I remember when I went to see The Mist the Cloverfield preview messed up and we got a free admission ticket to any movie after that. Was cool for only messing up a preview...

10 years ago I went on a date and we went to see 'Out Of Sight' and the projecter stopped working so we got a refund and a free movie pass too. So if you are up on the deal if something f***s up.

I remember I went to go see Die Hard 2 (I think) and the temperature inside the theater was so hot, that the screen caught fire. Luckily no one was injured and we got a free screening later.

There has always been problems on that particular screen at the cinema.
When the Phantom came out twelve years ago it somehow repeated part of a jungle chase twice.
last year while the previews were running before Smoking Aces it just froze during the Norbit trailer and the lights came back on.
Oh and before Iron Man even started the Indiana Jones trailer wasn't even aligned properly so we all got to see Indy's legs swing through the warehouse above his head

On a funny note the Speed Racer trailer made a little girl cry. You gotta be kidding me? That's great. They told me it was supposed to be a family friendly movie, but it's making little girls cry. They will hear from my lawyer.

And the trailer after yours was for Hulk and she was fine when she saw The Hulk and the Abomination go at it.

We own a townhouse in a ski community in New Hampshire. It was a Tuesday, completely dead last February. Went into a movie theatre, me and my girlfriends brother to see Cloveefield/ Only two people there. We actually had them stop the movie twice to go back to a certain scene. Has nothing to do with your story but I likd it. Gigitty.

Wow, this is a sign that it was a bad idea to let them make that movie. I should've listened to Sparky.

At the local theatre in my old town, owned by a local judge (and he'd sit there IN HIS ROBE and hand out tickets), my friend's mom did head-counting for box office crap. Anyway, apparently the first night they played Titanic, they burned part of it off accidentally in the projector. They fixed it and taped it quick. Then they couldn't get a hold of another, so they just cut out like 15 minutes, taped it back together and played it.
AND NOONE IN THE TOWN KNEW ABOUT IT... minus the few people that were there that night.
When they thing finally came out on VHS, a few girls who had watched it a bunch at the theatre finally noticed it was missing a chunk of it. So sadly, their boyfriends had to sit through it again.

When I was 8, we saw Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. There was no sound for about the first 15 minutes. I was thoroughly pissed.

When I was younger, my family went to go see Wild Wild West with Will Smith (yeah I'd never watch that movie again nowadays), and for like the entire movie the heads were cut off.....
And also there better not be any shenanigans going on tonight when I see Iron Man or I riot!!

When I was 17, we managed to get into Kill Bill Vol. 1 with a few friends from Irish College (one of the guys knew someone). As we were watching the Crazy 88 fight, the reel just went crappy and next thing the screen went black, we ended up getting a 15 minute intermission, but no refund, although one of the staff asked me and a friend if we were in the movie already when we were going back in.

saw hannibal rising when it came out the cinema, the sound cut out for less than 10 seconds at a point where you really didnt need sound anyway. Amazingly as we exited the cinema the manager came over really apologetic, asked how he could make it up to us (we said we werent too fussed as it didnt really make much differnce) and he gave us comp tickets to any film XD

"I missed so much thanks to you Zordon, The Black Plauge, The Crusades, THE BRADY BRUNCH REUNION!!!!!" Fires Lightening out a flute (What The Smurf?) But yeah, I was supposed to go to a free screening of King Arthur (It was a thing the local paper did) so me and my friend went their, WE get through the trailers, the movie starts then suddenly Garfield comes up on the screen! It turns out the cinema had gotten one of the reels wrong, so we got 2 free tickets to any movie EACH, so I got four cinema tickets for free . King Arthur sucked by the way
