Hello mr Tenta
I was wondering, based on your knowledge of the "sports entertainment" buisiness these days, would 29 years of age be too late to seek a career in pro wrestling? I would pretend this is a request from a friend but i cant, its always been a dream for me. I wouldnt mind 'jobbing' to anyone (except for that nasty HHH ;-) ).
All jokes aside, I know pro wrestling is very demanding, but do you think that something like UFC (or any MMA organisation) can work better for a mature student?
P.S. Hope all is well with you, and all those around you.

Hey Moose, like JZ said there is nothing wrong with persuing your dream. You just have to be honest with yourself, look in the mirror and decide if you have what it takes. Your age is borderline, but if you feel 10 years younger age isn't a problem. Wrestling as you know has changed, they don't use jobbers a whole lot anymore so you have to change your attitude already. Not help me be a jobber, but instead help me be a star. If you've decided you're going for it, good luck, and I wish you success. Where do you live? Also, unless you are a legitimate tough guy, I wouldn't advise UFC or MMA. 'Quake

your only 29 i dont think thats too old at all. if you are an athletic guy and good at whatever sports you played and are relatively big its definitly possible. if you got the money, are in good shape, and are willing to put in hard work i think it can happen.

I say, go for it aguamoose. We'd all be happy to see a fellow Wrestlecrapper succeed in the business. Good luck.

I'm not a wrestler or shootfighter, but I used to play judo in college and that was rough enough getting dropped on my head and choked out 4 days a week.
I would suggest only getting involved with MMA if you don't mind getting punched in the face for little or no money, which is why I'd never do it.
