and it was brilliant.
The action scenes don't disappoint. They are gloriously OTT but as it's Indy I'll let it slide. The film doesn't have a style similar to any of it's predecessors, it just creates it's own. Harrison Ford is fantastic, he seems quite happy to joke about his age and it really helps the character. Cate Blanchett is pretty nasty as the psycho villian and John Hurt is good as a mad archaeologist. Shia LeBouf is very good in his role and whilst I liked Transformers I thought he was a bit corny in that, certainly not the case here.
The only 2 criticisms I would give is that great actors like Jim Broadbent hardly get any screen time and that Ray Winstone doesn't quite work.
Other than that, it was great and well worth the wait.

Still not all that thrilled about it, but i will watch it.
Hopefully i'll enjoy it, regardless of it starring Shia Labouf
