I have been on such an 80's kick lately. I have been listening to a lot of all three of these bands, and have been debating myself really on which one I like best. After careful consideration, I give the slight edge to Minor Threat. They weren't around very long, but really had an amazing impact. They did start the straight edge movement. Which gives them a slight edge over the other two bands. However I do love all three, and Minor Threat isn't better by much in my opinion. What do you crappers think?

Biafra seems mad about that for some reason.

Both had an affinity for Jello, I think.

Well it is mighty tasty. As for the actual music in question my 80's punk taste run more towards Hüsker Dü and the Minutemen than the bands listed, so I withhold comment

I'm not much of a punk, but I enjoy Bad Brains, out of those bands.

I'd say musically Bad Brains.
But Black Flag had a huge influence. There early stuff influenced hardcore punk, including a young Ian Mackaye who went on to form Minor Threat (AND who was friends with future Flag singer Henry Rollins in DC before Henry joined Black Flag).
Plus, when they slowed down their music towards the mid-80s, it was a huge influence on the bands in the northwest like the Melvins and lead to the creation of "Grunge" (for better or for worse, and BTW, if you think all Seattle "grunge" bands are Pearl Jam and Nirvana, watch a documentary called "Hype!". You can find it on youtube.)
Also, I just felt Black Flag took punk from the 70s, when it seemed like it was more about fashion and stuff, and brought it into the new era in the 80s. The 80s bands, despite not getting all the credit from Rolling Stone-type magazines (who like to tell us Blondie and the Talking Heads were great punk bands... gag), were the ones that kept punk alive when it was no longer the "new hip thing".
So, while I enjoy all three, I go with Black Flag for those reasons. But really, there's no way to rank them.
If you like 80s hardcore punk, I suggest you watch the documentary "American Hardcore". It does a great job of covering all those bands in the 80s that kept it alive after the bands from the Sex Pistols-era had dissappeared or completely sold out.
Other punk documentaries that are decent are "Punks Not Dead", and the IFC documentary "Punk Attitude" (although I don't think that "Punk Attitude" is really an accurate punk rock documentary, it really just covers the beginning of "alternative rock" IMO, but it's still worth a watch).
And like I mentioned before, find the documentary "Hype!" on Youtube (it's in several parts on there, and that's the only place I've found it). It's a great look at the grunge era in Seattle, and there are a lot of decent bands on it that didn't have that corporate "grunge" sound.

Bad Brains, though I haven't heard much Black Flag. Minor Threat I do not really like.

Almost impossible to choose, but i have to give the edge to Bad Brains - even though Black Flag and Bad Brains both put on the best live shows the planet has ever seen, put out some of the best records, and imploded just as bad - Bad Brains win just for the self titled yellow album.

Flag.
I don't know if they count, for American 80s punk bands, I think Angry Samoans was the most fun to listen to. Black Flag gets my vote here though. Bad Brains was an awesome live band, but I think their records stunk.
