Voted the 8th best war film of all time it's one of those flicks that I always watch when I happen to see it on TV no matter how many times I've seen it. It's got that "few against many" thing that I really like and it's also got some quality actors to boot, as well as cool action scenes. Oh, and the Zulu chant at the end totally rules as well. Sharp eared listeners will probably note that it's the same song the German warriors at the start of Gladiator chant as Ridley Scott is a big fan as well. Peter Jackson has said that the battles from Lord of the Rings: Two Towers also borrows a lot from Zulu as well which is pretty cool. Anyone else a fan?

My brother used to watch this movie constantly. Every afternoon after school, he put on the tape.

Never seen it. Will have to do so. You totally should. Also check Zulu Dawn the prequel that was made a few years latter, the music is pretty awesome.

It`s a fantastic film that hasn`t really aged despite being made in the 60`s (I think).
John Barry did the score for it. It`s almost as good as the film itself.
