Hi guys, I'm new to the forums so forgive me if I breach any regulations.
Mr. Tenta, it is a delight to chat with you sir. I've always enjoyed your matches and your characters. I remember one time when you and Typhoon were wrestling in Charlotte, you guys had just beaten some team, I believe it wat DiBiase and IRS, but as you were walking back to the dressing rooms, you were both shaking hands with fans and I guess someone called out to you or something because you went back and shook more hands I always thought that was very classy of you.
Anyway to the point of my post, When I was in school, I was the odd man out, I was taller and bigger than most of my classmates. I didn't wear the latest clothes or listen to the same music, while they were all talking about football, basketball and the like, the only sport I kept up with was wrestling. So, again I was the odd man out. I was picked on for most of my school years at this time so the only escape I had was the WWF. I had two friends who loved the shows as much as I did and we all came to the same conclusion, we hated Hogan. Especially me. He kind of represented all those kids and teachers that gave me a hard time.
So when you attacked him on the Brother Love show, I flew from my sofa with glee. It really did make me happy. I'm older now and still look back on those past shows with fondness.
I know this sounds melo dramatic, but you and the other wrestlers meant alot to a chubby kid who had few friends. Thank you for the good times and the good matches. I'm sure that many here will say the same thing. Again I apologize for drawing this out, but it is good for me to be able to tell you how great a man you were. Thank you and God bless.
