As someone who worked in Japan, how would you compare life in the states to life in Japan as a wrestler? From what I hear, the culture is a lot more "Traditional" over there. Any opinions on the working eviroment/fans/culture/etc...?

The Japanese crowd is very different. They'll clap politely when 2 wrestlers have just finished a chain wrestling sequence, or whenever there's a pause after a dramatic series of moves. They seem to be a little more appreciative of the technical side of wrestling in general.
That's not to say that they don't like a good brawl, and there's the always infamous Japanese deathmatches, but they do seem to give the wrestlers a little more credit for 'wrestling'. Hence why Chris Benoit and others were so over there.
