That just plays random video games all day straight through. No shows or reviews or movies about video games or people talking during the game, just games. It would be like watching those speed videos on Youtube except it's be on a real cable station.

So...basically, a channel with Cinematech on 24/7? Cause from time to time, Cinematech had speed runs and gameplay footage of games instead of trailers.

I would love that channel. It'd be like hanging out with my friend Brian. Once, when Silent Hill 2 had just came out, he told me and another kid named Matt to just watch him play until the end of the game, because he was close. He kept saying almost done, almost done...
We then found out he had only started the game about an hour before we got there ;D

I don't think I'd be interested in watching speed runs 24/7, but it's definitely a good idea for a TV show.

I remember when I was younger the local channel used to do this every once in a while. I think it was to promote the local video store or something but it would play like 10 minutes of someone playing a game. Of course they were like nintendo games

That would be the lowest rated channel in the history of television.

nostalgia Critic said it best, it's more fun to play video games than watch people play video games.

That would be the lowest rated channel in the history of television. Nothing can get lower ratings than G4. They only have 4 shows that people actually watch, X-Play, Code Monkeys, Attack of the Show, and Ninja Warrior.

I liked the old G4 from like 2002-2005-ish. I pretty much detest the way it has become now. Sure, I like looking at Olivia Munn's fine ass, but I enjoyed shows like Judgment Day, Cheat, Icons, Sweat, and even Electric Playground before it changed to just X-Play and AOTS.

That would be the lowest rated channel in the history of television. Well, in an age of 1,000 stations, ya gotta put something on.

G4 was great though back in the day when it was acctuly a video game channel that had hours based on only that.
And to make things more great Tech tv had X-Play and one other show I forget that was totally watchable about games.
Then the huge company Viacom I believe realized G4 was beating it's station Tech tv badly, so it bought G4 and basically got rid of everything except three or four people and they try to call it the same.

Aren't there a few video-game only channels in Korea? I'd say one of them has things like this

Here is the problem with a network that shows video games 24/7, who pays for it?
Should the broadcaster charge the gaming companies to show their games OR will the companies charge the network for broadcasting their copyrighted material?

Meh. Cinematech sucked. It was always my least favorite show on G4 espicially back when G4 first started...
