Truth tries WAY too hard to get the message across (and honestly, miserably failed at it).

Saw it about 3 times during Raw. All Truth commercials tend to annoy the shit out of me, this one is no different.

I think they don't want people to quit smoking. That's why the ads are so stupid that nobody could take them seriously. They're probably paid for by tobacco companies.

The original Truth commercials, I could understand and actually got behind, but the last few years? It is as if they are trying to make people continue smoking.

Or hope that people will think that if they all quit, then they'll stop running these ads. To be fair I think the misdirection of the war on drugs (and i'm not going to go deeper into that) has ruined all messages really, and Truth going batshit bonkers is a result of that.

Here's the Truth for the Truth people:
All of the things you say in your ads may be true. Who cares. Here's one more truth. Not once has a tobacco executive forced anyone to smoke at gunpoint. Smoking is a choice. Eating fast food: choice. Driving 100mph, choice. Sheesh Is no one at fault for their own actions?

I'm not disagreeing that people are responsible for their actions (they are), but at the same time people shouldn't get away with being morally reprehensible lie factories. ...ok i know that's a laugh because of how politics work but still. I agree that dredging up all this stuff from the past is a bit much though

sadly I can see some stupid women actually watching this commercial and thinking it's a good thing to smoke so their baby can be skinny.

Remember when they first did commercials, it included a car exploding or a girls face going on fire? Good times.

I can't stand those ads... I've been a smoker for only a couple of years and those ads didn't keep me from starting and won't make me stop.
*goes outside to smoke*

I hate truth. Just about everytime I see their commercials I light up. One day, I actually lit a second cigarette without even knowing it.
...and you better believe I smoked them both at $5 a pack.

...I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on the planet that enjoys Truth commercials.
And I'm an occasional smoker.

Wait, isn't Philip Morris responsible for this whole ad campaign in the first place?
