1994
He was a face at WM X against Bryan "Adam Bomb" Clarke and in a mini-feud against Yokozuna culminating in a sumo match on RAW.

Quake was a Face in WWF(and I remember the first time, February 7 1992, the day that Money Inc. Managed by their manager, Jimmy Hart, won the WWF Tag Team Titles from The Legion of Doom, in Denver, Colorado. They were effectively dumped by Hart. From then until the time he (Quake) left the wwe about a year later. Then briefly in "That other company" He went by his given name. It amazes me how I remember these details, I'm willing to bet my house that nobodyelse knows or knew this.LOL

He was also a face when he wrestled Yoko in a sumo match on Raw. When it was, I don't recall. Hopefully, Quake does......

I think The Natural Disasters were a heel tag team for a short while, then one day out of the blue, I see Superstars (I think that's what the program was) and there was ol' John and Fred smiling and giving fives while walking down the aisle.
And yes, let's not forget the Oddities stint.
But yet we've forgotten his face run after the "I'm not a shark, or a natural disaster...I'm a man! John Tenta" speech. Sorry if I didn't get that down verbatim, John...but I think I got the jist of it.

Very funny The Golden Spike. But it's just not happening, I'm not going anywhere.

And yes, let's not forget the Oddities stint. The Natural Disasters were heels for the first 7 months together. Then Jimmy Hart screwed them out of a WWF Tag Team title match at a house show. Gorilla Monsoon told the story as Hart told the Disasters that they had a late match, when in fact it was one of the first matches, so by the time the Disasters made it to the arena, Money Inc. had already defeated LOD. (Do you remember that situation on a recent RAW?) I think the time Dfekt86 was trying to remember was in 1994 when John Tenta returned to the WWF wrestling under the moniker "Earthquake" as a babyface. Maybe Acsurf3's house should go to ByGawdItsSe7en?

I'll be honest I didn't like him as a face. For me Quake was always a big scary hairy guy who sat on people to squash 'em - shouldn't really ever have been a face. I think teaming Quake up with Typhoon too could have been delayed as I'd have had him in the IC title scene, he would have been great to have a Quake/Warrior IC strap feud.
