If you had to pick 5 films you feel are criminally underappreciated, what would they be? Mine, in no particular order, are:
Shakes The Clown Mallrats National Lampoon's Senior Trip Spies Like Us Johnny Mnemonic
The first four display my love for silly comedy, and the last one is probably my favourite Keanu movie, including Speed and the Bill and Teds.

Ed Wood Barton Fink Man On The Moon Chaplin From Dusk Till Dawn
Maybe not the most obscure films, but definately in need of greater global appreciation, in my humble opinion.

Bloodsport Twin Town The 51st State The Fifth Element Con Air I think I've seen all of those except for Twin Town. Wasn't the 51st state known as Formula 51 here in the states? Anyway, there have been some good films mentioned so far in this thread. I'd like to add just a couple. Frailty. Death to Smoochy.

I don't know ... they sometimes just change names in different countries and such.

IMO, "Disfigured Tom Cruise" dancing in that club scene was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life. I dug VANILLA SKY.
Plus, it has Penelope Cruz TOPLESS!
