Hey there, I grew up watching the quake. Was wondering how many others felt that way.
Quake, You helped shape my childhood I just wanted you to know that.

I remember my brother had a bunch of 3" wreslter figures and a ring. Then, when my brother was out I took out I had my own little Royal Rumble except that everyone was in the ring at the same time. The Natural Diasters were my favorite figures 'cause I used to think that they cause real earthquakes and typhoons and have them clear the ring.
But it was usually "Macho Man" Randy Savage who won.

Quake was always a favorite of mine in my youth. Even as a megaheel, there was still something I liked about him. If you're reading this, Quake, it warms my heart to know you're doing better, and I'm considering recommending Mangosteen to people I know.
Here's a memory I have: I think it was on Superstars or one of the syndicated shows in the mid-90s. Quake was a midcard face, and Bam Bam Bigelow was coming back for his heel run. They had a match, which Quake dominated by constantly avalanching him in the corner, until Bam Bam managed to dodge one and backdrop Quake over the top. But he came a little too close to those blue ring steps, and BANG. Quake ended up with a goose egg and a count-out loss. That had to HURT. Hopefully I'm not just imagining this; I do remember it vividly for some reason.

Quake made me cry when he sat on Hogan. But I wish he'd do it again for old times sake.

Now that I know better, I still like Hogan, but my animosity towards 'Quake is gone. Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz

The "Quake vs Hogan" angle was excellent.
I was only a kid back then and was genuinely upset when Hogan was attacked on the Brother Love show.
I wrote a letter and got a postcard reply from WWE.

Why not simply make this the "let's make John Tenta feel old" thread. BTW I'm in my late twenties and I remember watching him as a little boy.
