So the office I work in won some weird contest against other offices (internal and throughout the state), the grand prize was 1000 bucks to do whatever we all wanted with, so, we decided to split it 100 even and get whatever we wanted from a store of our choice, since the office is mostly guys (young to old) and one woman, we chose Best Buy.
Since I bought a 360 friday, I decided to go with:
Halo 3 (I don't even really LIKE the Halo series that much, but I have friends who play it online and that was the main appeal, I think I could learn to love it though...and hell if I don't, it's free, who gives a smurf!)
Saints Row (I have and I'm playing GTA IV but when I finish or tire of it, why not another sandbox game. Plus, it was cheap enough to fit into the 100 dollar budget)
And a 1 month X-Box Live subscription card (mostly just to have around)
It's under 100 bucks (around 80) but I couldn't figure out anything else I could squeeze in that wouldn't put me over budget. I figured once tax was figured in it would already be cutting it pretty close (electronics are taxed something ridiculous out here).
But yeah, free stuff rules all. The best thing is, I just transferred in to this office from another one mid last month, so it's pretty much like "Here's some schwag for coming to work here! Woo Woo!"
