I'm not sure I really want to see a remake. I mean, it's not like the original will vanish but, it'll probably just water it down. Since watching the original recently, I realized how raw it really was. A new Robocop is probably going to be a lot of action but, also with a lot of CGI. It will be interesting, but I doubt there will be as much blood and cursing. I thought Robocop was corny, but upon watching it again, it is really hardcore lol.

This remake is NOT necessary, nor is it welcome in casa de Schlapowitz.

You people mean to tell me you don't want to see Robocop say "I'm the GODDAMN Robocop!!!!" for two hours!? ;D I get pissed off enough when people feel the need to quote "I'm the goddamn Batman" twice within a 2 week span, so...No, I wouldn't like Robocop doing it for the span of an entire film.

Ugh, if people woulda just chuckled at it, and then let it be, Frank wouldn't feel the need to tweak readers by having Bats say it twelve times a sentence.

As cheesy as Robocop 2 was, I still enjoy it. I have happy memories, as it was the first R-Rated movie I got to see without my parents.
I even got the poster for it from the theater.
Robocop 3 on the other hand...

Though I still don't think that's so bad as Robin crushing Hal Jordan's windpipe, causing Batman to perform an emergency trachiotomy. It's one thing to make Hal look like a dork, but it's something else to have him get his ass handed to him by a little kid, even if it is Dick Grayson.

Yeah I abandoned this series when it became clear that it was just 'satire' or what have you, but I flipped through that issue in the shop. Just odd.

And no, I'm not going to be picking up anymore, either. "Would you like some lemonade, Hal?" Argh, it makes me so angry! *punches a wall...then goes to the emergency room to fix broken hand*

I'm skeptical.
The original was one of the best action movies ever made. I have no idea what they'll do to make it better.
Anyone remember the god awfulness that was the remake of Rollerball?

Anyways, the original Robocop brought us the "B****'s leave" line from the dad from That 70's show. That was worth the price of admission alone.

My favorite part is when Robocop is trapped under the beam, and he stabs that dude in the head with the spike from his fist. It seems like it doesn't cut away and blood splats out all over Robocop. There is no way they can top that. This will definitely be a "family friendly" version. I could be wrong, but probably not.

All guns will be replaced by walkie-talkies and the word "criminal" will be replaced by "social outcast who's trying to get noticed"

All I'm saying is that if Sting is not involved in this somehow it is a failure of epic proportions.
