Best thread ever. I would weigh the consequences of punching him vs walking away if I saw him walking down the street. I could see myself just start hearing some dreamy, almost heavenly music while I unconsciously remove my belt and just whip him in the middle of the street like a DOG. So hateable, that Bayless.

He is obviously a smart man. If I may ask, where is "My Hometown"? I mean, I live in Northeast PA and am surrounded by Jets, Giants, Steelers, Eagles and, for some strange reason, Dolphins fans. No you may not. North Jersey. Under the shadow of The Meadowlands, and he became a Bills fan? Awesome. NEWSLETTERS!!

Also, Skip Bayless looks like Danny Bonaduce, if Bonaduce knew nothing about sports.

Bills/Oilers was a wild card playoff game. The Bills were down 35-3 in the third quarter and ended up winning the game 41-38. Not to defend Bayless cause he is a tool, but a wild Card playoff game is so not better than a champonship series comeback.

And if that said team goes to the Super Bowl...for the third time in as many years...

Ya and they lost for said time in third years. The Bills are a joke. You think they could have won one of those Super Bowls.

The only reason I still even watch Cold Pizza/First Take for the hotness of Dana Jacobson. But yeah Skip is always an idoit in my book. And I missed the days of Woody pwning him, with the help of Professor Screwloose.

I would try to make an arguement for Skip Bayless' case, Saw, but there's one little problem: I can't. Why not? Because I agree. I think he's just an idiot. He just says things to rile people up or to be the negative in an argument. Almost like Jay Mariotti. He seems to bash everything in Chicago without a second thought, even if the teams are doing good. "Cubs Have Best Record In Baseball, Sox In First By 5 1/2"Jay's column: "Cubs, Sox Destined To Fail 2008"Way to be positive, Jay.

He's still better than that dorky guy that hosts First Take with Dana Jacobson. Forget his name but he just looks and sounds like he has no business on a sports show, and should be on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Plus he's an Ohio St. fan which makes him even more annoying.

I prefer Woody Paige and JA Adande over him.

Though I know you claim they're two different people, that sounds eerily like Skip himself. Except for the Ohio St. thing.

As a life long Sox, Celtics, and Giants fan, that is. Too bad the NY Rangers suck, but can I really complain about that right now?

I disagree, sure it's a terrible stigma to be the loser of four straight superbowls, but the fact remains its an accomplishment that may never be equaled to GET to four straight superbowls. I'd also disagree about them choking in really any of them. The Giants one could've went either way, and was literally within inches of them winning, were just beaten by Washington, and run over by twice by a Dallas team that probably woulda run by anyone those two years. They lost no question, but I wouldn't label them chokers.

This is True. There were favored by 8 over the Giants then next year were 8 point underdogs to the Redskins. Then got dominated by Dallas the next two year. I think all that shows in the NFC east in the 90s was killer

I think the reason he keeps his job is BECAUSE he is an idiot. Seriously. He always says stupid shit like that, because no one is dumb enough to say it! They need different opinions for those point-counterpoint shows, and his opinion is way out there.
