Thing is, some people have the nerve to say that DAREDEVIL is the worst Marvel movie ever.....I say those folks haven't ever sat through MAN-THING. I enjoyed the hell out of Daredevil! Then again, there's really no Marvel movie that I absolutely hate, or anything. I can find something enjoyable in even their worst output (like I did with Man-Thing). Is there something wrong with me?

It will.
It's not even going to be an "I think I can" thing. It'll do it during this week.
I find it funny that out of DC's 16 theatrical movies, 11 of them have been Batman or Superman and 14 of them have something to do with Batman or Superman.

Someone somehow should make a Flash movie, he's pretty well known and the TV show wasn't all that bad either.
Either that or maybe DC can dip deeper into their Vertigo line for movie ideas, do some "on the cheap" films that use another studio other then WB.

(Although I haven't been following the whole ordeal) As for Marvel Cartoons... no mention of Fantastic Four. I enjoyed that show. Wasn't as good as Spider-Man or X-Men, but it was still fun.

See.....there's this little comic called PREACHER from the same VERTIGO imprint that gave us CONSTANTINE.....and I think a movie based on that could kick all sorts of ass. It'd be like the anti-Passion of the Christ. PREACHER: Directed by: David Fincher Starring: Casey Affleck as JESSE CUSTER Colin Farrell as CASSIDY Lindsay Lohan as TULIP O HARE (Think about it for a minute, and the casting is GENIUS.) Jason Mewes as ARSEFACE Sir Ben Kingsley as HERR STARR and Clint Eastwood as THE SAINT OF ALL KILLERS. ;D

Is DC really making the Shazam! movie or not? I would love to see Patrick Warburton vs. The Rock in that movie. Squinty Eyes vs. People's Eyebrow

You have a good point but part of the reason I believe is because DC has not tapped into their full potential in terms of characters to movies. Marvel is now resorting to lesser known characters they have done so much but so far DC has only done Batman Superman Catwoman as their MOVIES. If they made like a Green Lantern film or Wonder Woman film things would be better. It's also hard because about 1/2 of DC's films suck. If they had more movies it would lower the rate. They have been wanting to do Wonder Woman for quite some time. They hired the guy who created Buffy the Vampire Slayer to write it but he dropped out because they didn't like his style.

Steel bombed that badly. When I was younger I thought it was pretty fun. Sonic Guns rule. And it was somehow more accurate than Catwoman...

I just watched it for the 1st time the other day, gotta love a woman in a wheelchair that pimps it out in weapons, then drives away freaking fast. I had to rewatch that part about 3 times, I was laughing so hard, I've showed it to all my friends.

For the most part, that's true. I had my hopes up for the longest time to finally see the "Iron Man" cartoon on TV again, and the other day when I did, I was like, "Oh, it's THAT one?" and changed the channel. Even the once beloved Spider-Man cartoon from the '90s seemed hokey to me. (I mean, how do you have Punisher shooting lasers, for cripes sake?!?!)

The first season of Iron Man was weak but Season 2 was a VAST improvement.
But yeah Marvel's cartoons were often censored, I like Spider-man but i agree the Lazers were dumb.

As in, Joss Whedon? Damn, that would have ruled. And I thought Catwoman's comic book ties were questionable, because I thought I heard someone associated with the film say that it wasn't supposed to have anything to do with the comic book Catwoman.

the new Fantastic Four cartoon is pretty good. and there was some awesome stuff from Marvel during the 90's. that said, DC needs to get off their asses and start marketing their superheroes better. it's a damn shame that Marvel consistently outsells them with predominantly inferior product. I mean, Green Lantern is the best written solo hero book out there, and JSA is easily the best team book out there. they should both have movies.
