and says, "You're in charge of the DVD department. You decide which wrestler's or events will get a DVD and what matches are on it"
So, pick your wrestler, say if there's gonna be a bio or not, who's gonna be involved if there is a bio, is gonna be Warrior DVD style or more like Pillman's? What macthes will you put on it to honor the wrestler's career? What extra's, if any would you include?
With daily threads about the Macho, Sting and Upcoming WWE DVD releases, I thought this might be fun.
Try to keep it real as possible, what I mean is, no 30 disc Brawler sets......Do what WWE would do, a 3 disc Brawler set.
Let's see what everyone would do.
Go!

I would partner with RD and Blade, and do a WrestleCrap DVD, full of all the horrible angles ever done by WWE, WCW, ECW, and whatever other archives they own. Easily a 3-Disc set, one big documentary with introductions. Alternate commentary by RD and Blade, WCR style.

Thanks for replying. Whenever I think I have a cool idea for a thread, it bombs.... Take heart, it is two in the morning when ya posted this. Only those of us that do not sleep have seen it yet. That said, I'm sure lots of people will have cool ideas about names from the past dvds so I think I'll go more modern, and for current guys I'd go ahead and put out a HHH one at some point.

I would put out a 3 disc set called The Greatest Tag Teams In Wrestling History....errr "sports entertainment" I would set it up similar to the Greatest Stars of the 80's. And give each team 10-15 minutes each showing clips and have them and other people talk about the team. Also profiling the teams getting together and split if the team broke up. And maybe you guys could help with some matches that would go on.
Disc 1 The 80's Wild Samoans Hart Foundation British Bulldogs Demoliton Strike Force (Just for Girls in Cars) Brainbusters Rock n Roll Express
Disc 2 The 90's Public Enemy Money Inc Natrual Disasters Steiner Brothers Harlem Heat Dudley Boyz New Age Outlaws
Disc 3 2000 - Current Edge & Christian Hardy Boyz Team Canada (WCW) Nex DX Brothers of Destruction Billy & Chuck Bookdust Londrick Redneck Wrecking Crew
What do you guys think?
**EDIT** I would also put out seasons of Raw, Nitro, Smackdown and Thunder. And after that WCW Saturday Night, Superstars and Wrestling Challenge. And after that every ECW show EVER!

I would bring a gascan and a match. Then I would watch as everyone cried while I burned all of tapes.

Yeah, I suppose. Though I meant for people to cobble together DVDs they'd wanna buy. Everytime a DVD is released we all bitch about what's not on it, how matches double up with other DVD releases, and so on.......

So long as a few matches make it and it's not all profiles on each team, it'd be pretty good.

While Strike Force should just a DVD to itself, just for Girls in Cars, it belongs no where near this list. But I do like the idea for the set. Don't forget about the Midnight Express, Hollywood Blondes, and there are so many more teams I'm missing. It's sad to see how the tag team division has declined over the years.

I knew I forgot a team. The Hollywood Blondes. And the Thrillseekers. My buddy has a tape Lance sent him and it is very good. It even has the vignettes Y2J talks about in his book. And the match with the Heavenly Bodies where Jericho has the broken arm and bleeds buckets is tremendous.

You mean I'd finally be allowed to make "Crushing Snakes and Causing Quakes: The John Tenta Story"? Because if so, I'm in, bubba.

Definetly the Summerslam match with Hogan, the Sumo match with Yokozuna, and the Starrcade 94 match against Sting right off the top of my head. And of course, the Snake crushing incident and Quakeburgers. Honestly, The Natural Disasters matches would probably encompass a lot of it.
