I have a long weekend ahead of me that's gonna involve a lot of relaxing in front of the boob tube, and thought I'd pick up a dvd or two.
I quite enjoy the biography ones, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good one, or just one that's kind of not mentoined very often.
So far I have: Shawn Bret ECW MNW Eddie G. Austin Benoit (though I can't bring myelf to ever watch it again)
I'm too young to appreciate AWA or WCCW, so I'd need a really solid reccomendation if you honestly think it's worth it.
I'm leaning towards Pillman and Jake the Snake. How are they?

The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection.
I watched all ten hours or so, in one day. That's how good it was.

Pillman's is really good and the match selection is good (can't say there aren't matches from WCW that I would have liked, but you'll never get exactly what you want).
Jake's documentary is supposed to be very good, though I haven''t picked that one up yet.
Some other goodies: Flair, Ladder Match, Foley's Greatest Hits and Misses, Piper, Hogan Anthology, Horsemen, and RVD.

Jake and Pillman both superb and well worth it. I would also recommend The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior and the Monday Night Wars. A lot of people condem them for being biassed view points, but I thought both were more balanced than they are given credit for.
The Piper and Dusty Rhodes dvds are also well worth it, as well as the Flair one that has already been mentioned. The Road Warriors as well.....okay I am a WWE dvd addict. I will stop now.

I actually just ordered the Jake DVD for my collection, so I can let you know on that before too long.
I honestly would encourage you to try the AWA dvd for two reasons: one, it's pretty solid stuff and shows you that Verne Gagne, while probably a greedy guy, was responsible for the wrestlers we say from the late 70s all the way into the 90s. Name a guy, chances are he was in Minnesota for a cuppa coffee, especially given how Vince raided the place. Second, I think it's important to know your roots. The modern stuff we know and love had to come from somewhere after all.
If it must be a bio, I'd consider Superstar Graham. He too was on the cutting edge, but few realized it at the time. It's also important to see because he has paid a heavy toll for his success.

Flair's is amazing. The Dusty one is cool mostly cause of the promos. Ladder Match is crazy wild. And the AWA one is full of good history.

The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection. I watched all ten hours or so, in one day. That's how good it was. The Flair one is indeed awesome. I really dig the ECW one too.

depends what mood youre in. I wouldnt recomend Jakes dvd unless you wanna here him bitch about how hard life was/is for three hours. Pillman was great if you want to cry afterwards, Flairs is good if you want to watch the same flair match for ten hours, I would go with ladder match cuz I havent seen it yet myself.

It's not a documentary, but I'm giving the SAME recommenation I give others threads like this: SURVIVOR SERIES 2002!!! Awesome PPV, and you can get it on the very cheap.
EDIT: For the Hulk Anthology, make sure if you get a fourth disc that it is the one with the MATCHES, and not with episodes of Hulk Knows Best. Just a warning, because both of these exist. And for the RAW 15th, get the 4-disc with the first episode of RAW too!

The Pillman DVD was quite entertaining. The documentary was really well done and the matches that they picked were pretty good as well.
The Ladder Match DVD is a must buy. I was talking with a friend about DVD's/matches to watch and it is a must buy. 3 discs of amazing matches.
The Foley DVD's of matches. I can watch the Mind Games (Foley/HBK) match for hours. It is good stuff.

I'd also recommend the Road Warriors one, and second the Ric Flair one too.
