I understand why smart fans dislike Triple H. Sure, I remember when he steamrolled over all the talent in WWE like Jericho, Booker T, RVD, and Kane, keeping the World Heavyweight title for a long time. I know he's married into the McMahon family and has incredible stroke with the company. The guy has not held the title that much at all since losing it to Benoit at WMXX (he put Benoit over by tapping out). I think the smart fans who lost favor with Triple H should at least give the guy credit for putting over Batista and Cena in a big way at consecutive Wrestlemanias, trying to make the stars of the future. Actually, I don't think he's won a Mania match since WM19 against Booker T. He just recently put over Jeff Hardy clean. He's been pretty unselfish. I think he's kept himself away from the title (not counting his brief reign after Cena got injured) and with Cena injured, he seems like one of the most credible superstars to have the belt. Plus, if he wins the belt or even wrestlers for it, that just sets up more opportunities for him to elevate talent. My thoughts exactly. Trips could have done a lot worse. He could be holding that title and squashing people in sight NOW but he isn't. I think he has a lot more respect for the business than anyone gives him credit for. He could have "gone Hollywood" like the Rock, SCSA or Hogan but he hasn't because he takes wrestling more seriously.

I think all 3 took wrestling seriously otherwise they would've been out of it years ago. As for Trips, it seems every month for the past 2 years there is a rumor about him winning the belt back, but it always "gets changed at the last moment".

This has been posted, but people should take this with a grain of salt. How do we know the plan wasn't for Jeff Hardy to go over the whole time with Trips being on board the whole time? We don't, it's just unlikely. Have you been a fly on the wall at booking meetings? Maybe HHH is actually enthusiastic when it comes to putting people over when it happens, he just happens to be kind of picky over when people do lose to him because how meaningful would it be if everyone down to Scotty 2 Hotty beat him? Plus there are other ways of making people look good. HHH was able to make Taka look good back in 2000, when most of the time Taka would be put in squash matches. Plus, what the hell is wrestlezone? Is that another one of the sites run by 12 year olds?

I can't wait for the 'Plans were changed for the Wrestlemania main event due to Triple H preferring to get his title shot at Backlash.'

In other news, Triple H hate has gone a little too far overboard. I just don't get it, sure he didn't put Carlito over but what has Carlito done in recent years to warrant going over HHH? Sure he won the WWE title but he lost it right back and hasn't been in the title picture since. I really don't see what he has done lately to warrant all this hate. It seems like some people go out of their way to make the guy sound alot worse than he really is. personally i believe if you look at most of the responses.... the HHHate has died down a lot. Most of them are making fun of people who think HHH is PURE EVIL! I was refering to whatever "reliable" source wrote this little bit of "news". It sounds more like someones personal opinion than news.

Sigh. People always screw this story up. He bought an orphanage, forced the orphans to rob a bank, and while they were gone set the orphanage on fire. When they returned, the got to see him sledgehammer kittens as a prize before he pedigreed and spinebustered the lot. Finally he left, taking the money and leaving them homeless and unconcious. And as he drove out of sight, he shouted, "I am the Game, FEAR MY MIGHT!" Why doesn't he just go ahead kidnap Santa already?!? Because he's not done raping Mrs. Claus.

I love this story. It's comes off as HHH was just about to head out and destroy Hardy, and then, all of a sudden, he realized that Wrestlemania is more important than the Royal Rumble, and that is where he should get his shot. Before that very moment, Trips was completely unaware of the importance of headlining wrestlemania. Oh, and also

Good, I hope he did that...
I can't see many of the current WWE roster being believable and enjoyable WM Main Eventers.

#1, put warnings for spoilers next time. I don't read them.
Also, this is just another example of wrestling fans calling themselves experts (whoever wrote the story). HHH is the evil heel villain, and when he turns babyface, he's now an evil heel villain pretending to be good.
See, you can hear in in the words chosen. It can't be a reason my HHH lost, It has to be a "real" reason why, and ofcourse, It has to be pointed out that there's a reason. Listen, there is a reason why everything you see on TV in WWE is being done, cound be good or bad reasons, but there are reasons.
Why do people think HHH is in full control of his on air charactor? Because his real life person is now married to Steph!? Is Marrissa going to be Women's champ any time soon? I always hear HHH did this, HHH did that, HHH thinks this, HHH want's that. Vince McMahon made the decision for Jeff Hardy to beat HHH, not HHH.
Remember, there is a reason why everything happens in WWE, even Carlito getting paired with Santino. It's just that some story's will get out more than others based on how much people care about something and want to exploit something.
For example, lets assume we all hate Carlito, and that we all have the same attitude with him that we do HHH. When they find out that, say, Carlito is being paired with Santino for the time being so WWE can figure out his contract situation while giving Santino someone with Charisma to work with, a negative IWC outlook toward Carlito would look like this:
First, you have to assume that Carlito is the one making the decision, because, see, he has that kind of power because his dad has known Vince McMahon for 30 years. He might not make the decisions, but he has influence.
With that said, the story would go from this:
"Carlito is being paired with Santino for the time being so WWE can figure out his contract situation while giving Santino someone with Charisma to work with".
To this:
"The real reason why Carlito is being paired with Santino is to keep himself in the backround and let Santino shine while he figures out his contract situation with WWE (make more $$$). Obviously, Carlito must think that Santino can't get over on his own, hense doing the favor.
I say that HHH does want to go for the title at Wrestlemania. I also say that Jeff Hardy wants to go for the title at Wrestlemania. So does HBK, DH Smith, Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes.

People seem to be overlooking this amazing news...The big picture to this news story is that MVP and Rey Mysterio are trying to bring the BIG WIGGLE to WWE...Smiley will rule again!

So, does this mean that a SD! or ECW guy is winning the rumble?
