Am I the only one who falsely predicted that Jeff was going to escape the cage with a crossbody to Orton on the outside?
Because I got duped. In a good way, of course.

You could feel Hardy about to break out over the summer right before his suspension. I thought his momentum would be stifled but he has gotten even hotter since. He finally elevated himself to a level where many thought he'd always reach. His work has improved greatly. Hopefully, he can keep his personal issues in check because his stock has never been higher than it is right now.

Watching it right now. Man, Umaga got out of some VICIOUS spots, like the chair thrown at him, followed by a DDT onto the chair. He powered out, not even merely kicking out.

Also, I'm glad Orton is starting to really get that heel heat he needs, such as the great spot of him running and hitting the door into Jeff's face, rather than a simple slam of the door.

yeah I still like the match, Umaga is my favorite worker with Cena out nowadays.
Hmm Hardy can do a lot in re-establishing the IC title. Whomever beats him will be kept at that level. but right now SAntino and Carlito don't really need the belt. Umaga is beyond the IC title. Snitsky doesn't have a vested interest in championships as much as in hurting people.
So that leaves Kennedy as the guy who beats him, eh.

I thought that was going to happen as well. I'm on the Hardy bandwagon, I'll admit it. Since his comeback, we've seen a Jeff Hardy that's clean and motivated. He's usually in the best match on Raw, every week. I think that Jeff Hardy will get the WWE title this year. It will be a short reign but he'll get it. I say he gets it by defeating Triple H.

I'd be for that, since now Kennedy's actually being shown as having HBK's number, rather than a one sided feud. HBK's always been portrayed as Jeff's on screen idol, with them teaming often, so it wouldn't be a hard shift.

I cant believe how many are on the hardy bandwagon. His character hasnt really evolved and has been the same for the last 10 years. He cant give u an interview either. It tells u how bad of shape the business is in talent wise where a little guy who cant give u an interview and isnt the greatest worker and is big spot monkey in the ring and looks like the typical grunge guy who buys a ticket to the cheap seats is world championship material and is as over as he is.. WOW!! Just wow!!! I guess anyone can be world champion today. I guess it is safe to the say.. The fanbase has certainly changed. A promoter wouldnt give a Hardy a 2nd look 15-20 years ago and he would be stuck in midcard purgatory So because he doesn't fit the mold of what has been.. he should never be and fans shouldn't like him? People are going to get behind who they want. If they were pushing him as a main eventer when he wasn't as over as he was, then I see your point.. but it becomes immediatley mute that he is as over as he is. It's one of the few smart things WWE has done lately.. run with a hot guy instead of using him to pad an established guy.

Not much of a fan of his being the every-woman-and-child's-favourite-superstar-spot-monkey that he is. But I have to admit, the finish of the match was executed well and overall the match was better than I expected. He's red-hot over with kids and women right now so, if he wins the WWE Championship, although I'm not expecting it, I won't be surprised.

Thing is, thats about the only heat he can really get, the cheapest heat possible. I'm not complaining about the door spot but mainly the kicks to the head. He can't gain any heat in his promos (Eddie Comment notwithstanding) and barely in his matches.

Maybe you're not really watching the reactions, because it seems like everyone is getting into HardyMania. The guy's got lots of people really excited, and just because he may not be your style, doesn't mean he isn't a phenomenal performer. As someone else said, he's consistently in the best match of the night on Raw these days. Yes, he has his spots, as does every other guy on the roster. If they didn't they wouldn't get the boosts from the crowd when they see their favourite moves. I don't know if you're attempting to be a rebel by downplaying it as "better than expected", it was damn great. Face it man, Jeff Hardy has got "it" right now. \m/

I guess its inevitable, but yeah the sagging Kennedy booked with Hardy, to help Kennedy's push.....

Hell, remember when people chanted for Matt Hardy when he was wrestling the UNDERTAKER, not booked as a heel either, in that one SD! Tag Team match?

Umaga and Jeff Hardy have great in ring chemistry. Remember GAB? Still the best match they've had together.

make the rumble match title vs. title. Whoever wins then drops the IC belt and we have a multi brand ladder match for the IC belt.
But I really enjoyed the match, I wish we would see some more wrestling out of Hardy and just not his spots.
How can they say that the RKO and Twist of Fate are different moves?

If you're making them think "wow, he's cool", you're kind of a failure as a heel.
