Like I said in the Official Rumble Thread..........The words "I'm done with WWE" get thrown around heavily around here, but That would be my final straw. I really would be done with WWE if they were to go this route.

I really would be done with WWE if they were to go this route. I've got to agree here. The only thing that stopped me watching before was lack of means, and even now I watch mostly on the net, but if my favourite match of all time was won by a midget joke, I would definitely turn off my TV. I stayed through the InVasion, I stayed RIGHT UP to the last ever episode of Nitro, I stayed through all the shocking edits of WCW Worldwide on Channel 5 even when it was booted to the next week - and this would make me never watch anything except my old DVDs again.

This might be the only serious way for Hornswogglemania to be created. WWE could have people win trips to Ireland, have a super-massive RAW on March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) to celebrate, have the biggest green fireworks show everytime he enters, etc.
Jim Ross could yell "THE HORNSWOGGLE ERA HAS ARRIVED! HORNSWOGGLE MANIA IS RUNNING WILD!"
King Lawler "I DON'T BELIEVE IT! ALL THAT TOUGH LOVE HAS FINALLY PAID OFF!"
*imagines Stone Cold celebrating and drinking Guinness beer with Hornswoggle after the Rumble is over*

He will win and I will laugh my ass off and then shed a single tear for the death of professional wrestling. Then I will sell my RR chair for an obscene amount of money outside MSG. Then get some Chinese food. Then get hungry 30 minutes later. Then microwave the leftovers. Then I will probably masturbate a little. Then go to bed. All of this will happen on the Q train home.

Who's taking it seriously? There's nothing fun about a midget winning what's been your favourite match since you started watching, dammit! *shakes fist*

Exactly why is the idea of Hornswoggle winning the Rumble such a topic of conversation on the Internet?
I know calling every single thing the WWE does stupid is one of the favorite pastimes of Internet fans, but, really, what has ever been done by the WWE that would be comparable to allowing Hornswoggle to win the Royal Rumble?
Then again, Horny is arguably the most over guy on RAW.

Hornswoggle's gotta get at least 1 elimination. Preferably a big guy like Khali or Mark Henry, whose elimination is due to stumbling over him or something *slightly* comical.
Sadly, he'll probably eliminate a smaller someone like Jamie Noble and be made to be a credible competitor (while his victim is mocked horribly - meaning it'll be someone we all like).

I hope not, but at the same time, seeing him eliminate even one dude would be fun for the crew.
Now, seeing him win the whole thing...they'd better have a Vinnie Mac assist and full heel turn for me to stomach that one, or that might be the end of me.

If that happens, 'll shrug, say "Well, professional wrestling had a good run while it lasted," and find something else to watch.
