if this was posted mah bad....
either i'm more tired then i thought or HHH is getting a Royal Rumble opportunity next week against a mystery opponent... not only that but Vince seemed extremely happy about it... so my question is: are they wasting Show this early as a heel? or is there someone else he's facing?

Is Lashley fit? Could be him if thats the case. If not then probably someone like Khali or BDV who he'll beat anyways and then win the Rumble.

I kinda thought from the way Vince was acting that he was going to face Trips. Probably also make him the number one entrant.

It'll probably be "the undefeated Snitsky", and he'll be billed as a man that Triple H has never faced before.

I threw in the "undefeated Snitsky" line, because I was trying to tie those two statements together to make a joke about how WWE likes to use revisionist history. Nevermind though, it obviously failed big time.

My guess is he will face Umaga and Snitsky in a handicap, No DQ match and he of course wins.
Cause you know the 1 always beats the 2 in handicap matches. I really wish they would stop doing them.

It'll either be Snitsmaga (or should that be Umagsky) or a returning Big Show. I think Show will be a surprise Rumble Entrant however.

I missed Raw.
But I'll be damned, I kept telling this guy at work that HHH will be in the Rumble.

I don't think it'll be Big Show, I don't think they'd have him return by doing a job on free tv. I'm thinking Umaga, or maybe that handicap match like others said. Or it could be Vince as the opponent like Squizz said, maybe with a special guest referee just so he can try and embarrass HHH.

Made a prediction in the 2008 prediction thread on December 27 that HHH would win the rumble. Of course at the time, i thought the stipulation was that HHH would be forced into the #1 spot if he lost the match to flair. Turns out that he actually lost his RR spot entirely. As much as I wanted it to be true, i still felt that HHH would still win the RR, so i kept my prediction through a couple more "who will win?" type threads. And now, he's been given another opprotunity to get back in the rumble(probably as the #1 entrant). I've never wanted to be wrong so much, I love when the Royal Rumble winner isnt predictable(ie - last year - anyone watching would have known either undertaker or HBK was winning that thing).

Ok so everyone complains about Cena beating everyone. Yet HHH won't even lose cleanly to Flair in the Carolinas, Wastes a hell of a feud with Regal in one match, and then will get another chance to get to the rumble and will most likely win it in the end. Things that make you go Ummmm.

Things that make you go Ummmm. Honestly, I don't think Flair can beat anyone cleanly at this point and also it's not really his gimmick anyways as he's the "Dirtiest Player in the Game". I didn't see anything wrong with it. Also, it's not for us to decide which feuds last and which feuds don't last. If the Regal/Trips feud went to one match only, so be it.
