A non-performer wing would be a good thing. Jim Johnston, Kevin Dunn, Bruce Prichard and Howard Finkel could all be inducted.

A non-performer wing would be a good thing. Jim Johnston, Kevin Dunn, Bruce Prichard and Howard Finkel could all be inducted. There is already a precedence for this since Vince McMahon and James Dudley were not on-screen performers. Also, I think the Fink should go in for being a legendary, iconic ring announcer, which would mean he wouldn't have to be in a special wing with guys like Dunn and Johnston. You could make a case for Bruce Pritchard to go in as a performer, but he's not as solid a case as the Fink.

I think it's a year too soon for Flair. Rather wait until '09. I really think we're overdue for Steamboat and DiBiase. Like to see either or both of the Bulldogs considered. In the long shot area, what about the Von Erichs? I don't see the Von Erichs as long shots, especially since the WCCW DVD came out last month.

I don't think they'll ever do more than 1 "tragic" wrestlers a year. It's supposed to be a fun night, not a funeral.
The Von Erichs are a possibility any year, but they they won't go in the same year as Rude, or Owen Hart, or the Big Boss Man, etc.

Yeah, I agree that they should not do too many posthumous inductions in one year. Myabe have one or two posthumous inductions in a year and mostly focus on honoring those who are still with us who really deserve it.

If Ric Flair gets in this year, what about the rest of the Horsemen?

Owen wont be going into the Hall of Fame unless Bret talks Martha into allowing it.

I was shocked to see that Steamboat hadn’t yet been inducted. Along with the DiBiase and the Bulldogs my other suggestions would be King Kong Bundy, Miss Elizabeth, Hercules and the Legion of Doom. Would love to see Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior in there as well, but I guess that ain’t going happen anytime soon. Incidentally according the imdb.com, Jack Nicholson wants to induct Ric Flair into the HoF!

Inducting the British Bulldogs seems unlikely unless Dynamite Kid dies, but Davey Boy Smith is a safe bet as long as DH Smith is on the roster and able to induct him or accept for him. Ted Dibiase is a sure thing to get in one of these years. Ted Dibiase Jr. could induct him. If Billington dies, then I could see them inducting the Bulldogs. He's seen as a bitter recluse and may not want anything to do with the WWE Hall of Fame.

How about the Road Warriors? They should go in any year now.

I'm just hoping when they induct Flair, Terry Funk shows up to piledrive him on the podium....
