Ted DiBiase, Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, and Demolition (Ax/Smash).
Randy Savage too, but that'll never happen.

anyone guess hu will be in the hall of fame tih syear apart from Rocky Johson and er the rocks gradad? i think: Ric Flair Bam Bam Bigelow Jake 'the snake' Roberts The Rock Mick Foley anyone else? The way they do the hall of fame is get 1 or 2 really great choices and then borderline choices. This way they always have that 1 big star every year. Mick Foley, The Rock and Ric Flair will never be inducted in the same year.

Yeah, they'll have one or two "big" names, some other likely deserving but not huge names, and a few marginal ones.
If they inducted all the big names at once, they wouldn't have anyone later. So yeah, if they inducted Ric Flair, you may see Bam Bam, make DiBiase or Roberts, but definitely not Rock or Foley.

If they inducted all the big names at once, they wouldn't have anyone later. Not only that, but wrestlers have refused to participate in the past if they weren't the "main guy" - Dusty Rhodes put it off for years until last year, when it could be "his" class.

I think it's a year too soon for Flair. Rather wait until '09.
I really think we're overdue for Steamboat and DiBiase. Like to see either or both of the Bulldogs considered.
In the long shot area, what about the Von Erichs?

Kevin Von Erich made an appearance at the first Raw Homecoming. They just put out a DVD on World Class. Michael Hayes is a fairly prominent backstage figure.
I wouldn't call the Von Erichs longshots at all.

Stand corrected. Suffice to say seeing the Von Erichs go in will touch some people.
Is there anyone living other than Rocky Johnson, Ted DiBiase or Rick Steamboat who have a realistic shot of getting in? Otherwise, this could be a very depressing evening.

Know who I'd like to see as one of the Greats that 95% of Todays Audience Doesn't Know About? Rick Martel I actually posted in a similar thread a few months back that he'll be inducted along with Tony Garea as a tag team. And as I've said every time, there is no-one who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame (with the exception of Bruno) more than Howard Finkel.

Jim Johnston MUST go into the H.O.F. soon!
Also, if they have to have a celebrity wing, why not celebrities that have actually made a significant contribution to Pro Wrestling, i.e Cindy Lauper, Mr. T

I think Rick Rude might be inducted. SVR07 had Mr Perfect as a legend and he was inducted in the 2007 class. Rude was a legend in SVR08 and I have a feeling he'll be in this year.
