I'm sorry. I laugh at Hawk no selling the frog splash after the pin.

Awsome, thanks for posting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this LOD's last match as a team, before Hawk's tradgic death ?

Nah, but it was their last WWE televised match to the best of my knowledge. I know that they also wrestled at the Smackdown taping the same week as this match, but it was just a dark match.

Thanks for the info, I was not sure if it was their last match as a team or not. Still sad to think about what happened to Hawk soon there after though.

Yeah, I'm almost positive they wrestled the Dudleyz.

How soon did Hawk did after this match took place? If Hogan had been involved in the match...probably the next day according to him. But actually he died the following fall I think. I marked out for LOD. I don't care if they were way past their prime, I would have liked to have seen them get one more run.

Wasn't very long.
I kinda wish this match had gone on longer--I'd have liked to see this one develop more.

Their run in 1997-98 wasn't very good and i would imagine it would have been worse if they got rehired in 2003 as well.
WWE would have likely had to deal with a "on the roster" tragedy as well.
I'd be quite confident that the run Animal and Heidenreich had a few years back (thanks to nepotism!) would have been the LOD had Hawk not tragically died.

I mark for Bischoff's intro of them all the way up until the match starts. Then meh.

I was there in Philly that night and the crowd knew LOD was going to be there and was STOKED when they came out.
When they got jobbed out in a few minutes, it killed the crowd for the rest of Raw. Oh well.

Great video just for their entrance & pop, but the rest was a disaster.

Was JR miscalling the Doomsday Device as the Devastation Device? Or am I just stupid?
