Personally, I'm happy. It was a genuine surprise and the guy has a ready-made story with Orton that makes sense. I'm just glad it wasn't Triple H. A Wrestlemania without Triple H in the main event? Wow, I never thought I'd live to see this day*
*knowing our luck, Hunter will be added to it anyway to make it a 3-way completely negating my previous post ;D

On one hand is was a great surprise, guarantees a 'Mania with that big match feel (sorry, I am an Orton and Trips fan and can admit they can't do that together) and, there is a huge story behind it (provided they go with Orton/Cena) with Orton having injured Cena (according to WWE).
On the other hand Hardy's push looks dead in the water with Cena back, Trips wont be getting a title shot and, the main event of Mania is a no doubter.
Oh well, it least it'll be something somewhat interesting.

Please do not continue making claims that you have no proof of at all. This goes out to everyone.

I was getting all excited for Ron Killings or Big Show or someone returning when the #30 buzzer went off, and we get that.
Not cool!

So what you guys are saying is that you would've rather Triple H or Hornswoggle won the Royal Rumble? Personally, as someone who's enjoyed Cena's work up until his injury, I'm glad to see him return, and DAMN glad to see him win over Face Trips. What part of ANYONE BUT CENA do you not understand.

How is it the worst surprise ever? Because you don't like the guy? I think it was probably the biggest surprise they've had since the Monday Night Wars. NO ONE saw this coming. Not the News guys, not the fans, not anybody. Despite not being a huge fan of the guy myself, it was at least something I didn't expect. That's all I ask of PPVs these days.

Looks like WWE wants to put number 30 on the map as the best spot again.

Honestly, that injury had to be a work. I don't believe there is any reason for him to be back already if he JUST healed, it wouldn't be smart if he reinjures himself
I find the whole thing unbelievable though

I felt sick when #30 came out. Even sicker when Cena won. Come on! He comes back for injury and just happens to draw #30 ? yeah, and then win.

one thing that I dont get, how in the hell did he recover so fast, Didnt they say he was 100% not going to be wrestling at Mania. They wanted this to be a surprise. makes a lot of sense, God damnit i really should have gone to rumble, I only live about 20 minutes from MSG, something I will regret for a while. Why did I buy tickets to mania instead of the rumble.
