"I'm going to stretch his body apart limb from limb." "From this point on,all my losses were your fault." etc.. What a doofus. I find myself kind of rooting for him because he is such a bozo.

Who's Chuck Palumbo?

It's sad, really. He's got impressive size, and I think this version of Chuck Palumbo (aka DDP 2.0) has the potential to make him a superstar.
But his promo work sucks. Maybe there's some hangover from the Billy & Chuck days, cuz he sounds like he needs to take it out of his mouth.

He's clearly affecting the speech mannerisms of someone from New Jersey. Find me a Jersey Boy or GIrl who speaks the King's English, and I'll serve you a fancy dinner of dodo eggs and roast beast.

Yeah... that promo did suck, he's fine in the ring, or when he doesn't say -alot- but when you give him 5 minutes of talking time it turns into a Batista-esque promo real fast..

I mark for heel Chuck. I think it's fantastic when they actually use storylines to develop characters and don't just lazily build a feud around trading victories, and Chuck being a frustrated, bad ass biker suits more than Chuck; the biker who is also a showman who loves fans.

It could be the inverse of Michelle McCool's gimmick... "I'm Chuck Palumbo, and I'm hating life."

I had been digging him until he opened his mouth for that promo. Oh my good god that was terrible.

He looks a bit like Ian Gillan in the 80s, and he's equally painful to hear

Palumbo is horrible.
He's like Test combined with Billy Gunn, with some X-pac and Buff Bagwell sprinkled on top.. Useless.

I think he was best in the Billy & Chuck gimmick. Maybe bring that back?

On the other hand, I can say that I rather enjoy listening to a Jamie Noble promo.

He's AGHAST... and a tool.
Yes, the promo was lame, but the line "bringing the crazy" was gold.
