Slightly off topic, but it's something I've noted here lately.
It just seems to me every time someone posts something, anything, that doesn't praise a storyline or jumps to conclusions, another group go over and call them 'sad' or get 'annoyed' because they're not waiting for the storyline/wrestler to take their course. And then when someone (same person or not) starts to like that storyline/wrestler, those same people go 'Ahh, you IWC freaks change your minds all the damn time. Makes me sick'.
What people seem to forget is that every poster who posts here is a different person. And different people have different opinions on things. Some might be the same as others. Why does this matter so much to people? Every person who posts here has a different opinion on topics and some might be the same as others. Why should they be the same as others?
Some people didn't like the Incest Angle...So what? You might like it for other reasons and that's fine. Same for Hornswoggle or anything else in the WWE/TNA. Do we all have to follow one bandwagon and have the same view because it always seems like it is to me. I'll give you an example. I like Shelton Benjamin. Have since he debuted years ago and I think he got a deflated push during his IC title reign. Loki disagrees with me saying he just didn't get over with the fans. Do I have a problem with that? No. Because that's his opinion and I'm fine with that. I respect his opinion because he isn't insulting me.
I keep saying this over and over and over again, there is NOT a damn elite group of posters deciding what to love and what to hate. It was, most likely, a joke someone said which people decided to run with and call the 'IWC'. And now, whenever someone says something, they're put into this lame ass box for reasons I'll never understand.
I keep asking this question, but why do we always have to put people in boxes? And most importantly, why do it here on a wrestling forum where we're all wrestling fans?
Sorry, I just had to vent because this is really annoying me.

I have read that twice... And I am still lost. To put it simply... People who insult people saying 'You IWC types' are stupid because there is no 'IWC'. Everyone has a different opinion and they don't have to agree/disagree with everything the WWE/TNA does. Hope that helps.

Sorry, I just had to vent because this is really annoying me. Know whats ironic? No less then 30 seconds before I read this I was listening to the song "Little Boxes" EDIT: Oh yeah, I also agree with what you said. I always attempt to make it very clear that what I post is my opinion and mine alone.

I have to ask though, are you really the first to figure out the fact that people widley differ in opinions? I have no idea what the aim of this is.
Adding a confusing diatribe about something everybody already knows serves only to exacerbate the problem.

In that case.... There is an IWC.
Everyone single wrestling fan that uses the 'net is apart of it.
But to think that it's one conscious of thought or that we all think the same is flawed.
But other than that, I agree.

I have read that twice... And I am still lost. I speak fluent eJm so allow me to translate: I get annoyed with people lumping in wrestling fans mentalities as being all the same and "everyone" doing/thinking the same thing and the assumption we all follow the same swing of things.

Yes. We (or at least I) got that thanks, boy scout. What I'm saying it's completely unnecessary. "Everybody has different opinions"? Shocking development. Plus, you know, it's a bit much for a wrestling forum.

Everybody has an opinion yes. The point is when people push their opinion as fact ahead of the opinions of others, which are equally valid.

Well, either ignore it or state your own opinions as 'retaliation'. I never understood the whole "It's fact not opinion wah wah" argument. In all walks of life it occurs. To me it exudes a mental weakness which means you are unable to debate the merits of your own thoughts and opinions.

I love this forum as on the whole everybody posting here can laugh about wrestling and accept it for what it is but still treat it as serious business when necessary.
I don’t ever want in to become a place where I’m criticised for liking Khalli, Cena or Hornswaggle or where people only respect Kurt Angle style in-ring technicians. Here I think every wrestler in history has a fan (even Test) and the Mean Street Posse are often held in higher regard than Ric Flair.
Some people need to remember they’re posting on a site called wrestlecrap.
That said if you like Batista you’re a big stinky head and I hate you, your stupid hat and your dog.

I agree with you bro. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) My gripe (and I didn`t explain it well) is with those who refuse to counterpoint and defend their own opinion, because they just state is as fact without any basis for it. Like you say, you should be able to defend your stance. Often people don`t though, they just do the internet equivalent of putting their fingers in their ears and shouting "la la la".

There's only two types of people in this world: those who have to categorize everyone and put them in boxes... and those that accept everyone is an individual with their own opinions.
I hate people who categorize everyone, I'm glad I'm not one.
