- Randy Orton is said to have formed something of a clique with wrestlers such as MVP, Umaga, Rey Mysterio, and Carlito as of late and has been known to take up for them. One thing the group likes to do is play around with Shawn Michaels by calling him names and pulling pranks on him.
Ha what comes around goes around HBK!

Damn, talk about thinking a lot of yourself and not knowing your role! At least the original Clique were top/upper midcards in a shallow talent pool. HBK was super over, Nash was champion, Razor was IC champion, Kid was over and HHH was the "next big thing".
Compare that to Kliq 2008: Rey and Randy aside, we have an overrated afro-headed lazy ass who almost got fired a few months ago; an overhyped fat ass who looks like his whole gimmick just stepped out of 1986, and a boring ass with his only claims to fame being his power ranger lookalike jumpsuit, his bad tattoos and his bouncy castle entrance.
I'm sure HBK is quaking in his boots. All it takes now is for Mike Knox and Funaki to join up, and Michaels can kiss his main event spot goodbye.

Um all of the people they mentioned in this new clique are either current/former champions. Orton is the WWE champ, Rey former WHC, MVP is the US Champ, Umaga former IC Champ, Carlito former IC Champ and is in a feud for the Tag Titles. So how does that not fit. Oh and blasting MVP for his attire? Raeally? Thats so 9 months ago, MVP has proven to be the best new star in WWE and has had amazing matches with almost everyone, Umaga is a near main eventer and was in one of the top billing matches at Wrestlemania last year, Carlito if he could get his act together he could be a huge star he just needs stop whining. Really do you know what you're talking about?

So who plays the following parts:
VKM/New Age Outlaws ECW's Triple Threat Chyna Bret Hart Rick Rude (although highly unlikely since TNA does not currently air at the same time as any WWE programming)
Although, due to lacking charisma, we have a gang of Aldo Montoyas wreaking havoc backstage.
Edit: As far as what goes around comes around, Bret Hart was hit pretty hard with karma in Nov. 1997. Jacques Rougeau claims that he feared the Clique when he beat up the Dynamite Kid; this clique consisted of Hart Dungeon members, including Bad News Brown.

Sure I do. I don't like Umaga. I'd prefer him more as a Samoa Joe type, an urban Samoan with a bad streak. This raving, screaming blob of lard with his ridiculous facial expressions just makes me cringe and pray that my non-fan friends are never watching when he is on.
MVP is crap and makes me turn the channel, and Carlito hasn't done anything of every significance for a long time. When your most memorable era is tagging with Chris Masters, you know you've f***ed up somewhere down the line.

The Jockstrap Batallion? In any event, as I said before. This is a very silly bit of news. Here's why, most of it is MVP related. MVP, at age 34, has received a very good push and is viewed favorably backstage because of his drive to improve and studying tapes of matches. To say he's in this clique because he's a young guy trying to get more notoriety is silly given the pushes and feuds he's been in, plus the fact that he, along with Umaga and Rey, are in their early to mid-30s. Also silly is the calling HBK names and pulling pranks on him bit. This is like some catty frat-house version of the Klique...which might as well be known as the "we hate HBK" club. Cause if you recall, the original Klique essentially had a stranglehold on the booking scene of the WWE. This group? Not so much it seems. And again, why would MVP even be involved in that seeing as how he's had a total of zero matches with or involving HBK. Rey's also an odd inclusion to this group, being a decently pushed ring veteran, in fact the wrestler with the most amount of experience in this theoretical group. Simply put, this reeks of being Smarkbait that seemed to have been generated by taking a bunch of names from last year's newz and smashing it together.

Anyway, good for them. They're buddies chillin. Why should I hate that?

If that were all they were doing, which is more what sounded like Trevor Murdoch, MVP and a couple others who were studying matches from Japan backstage...you know, something productive and not talking about HBK behind his back yet right to his face. Assuming of course this is all true which it probably isn't.

Yeah, this isn't the Klique II. The First Klique ruled wrestling and still does. Look, if Shawn felt threatened, he would simply go to Triple H, and they would find themselves on Heat for the next month, or faceing him in one of those gauntlet matches where he burries them all. If he really felt threatened, he could go to Undertaker, and the Lord only knows what he would do with them.

Umaga, MVP, and Carlito I can see.
But...Rey? Really?

Umaga, MVP, and Carlito I can see. But...Rey? Really? Rey and MVP I think are the two real BS indicators of this. MVP after all is being pushed very well since his arrival, and Rey...well yeah.

Umaga, MVP, and Carlito I can see. But...Rey? Really? I actually remember Konnan mentioning Rey and Orton were buddies on the road. Umaga, MVP and Carlito, not quite sure.
