Quick word on the Hogan/HBK thing, Hogan is the ONLY thing WWE has these days as a special attraction, to bury that would just be nuts. I think Hardy's going through a pink-period in the sense that he's over with the crowd and creative are willing to do something with him, after WM he'll either fall foul of the wellness test, get suspended for tardiness or the writing team will just run out of ideas. Hardy isn't a guy who's going to have a sustained run at anything, he'll comes and goes when the mood takes us, him and them. What makes you think this??

It was a fine match. I always thought jobbing was getting smashed. It was a fun competitive match. I'd say he just you know, just barely lost a close match.

I just despise the use of the word "jobbing" for a loss on an episode of RAW/SD/ECW...
They run FIFTY-TWO espisodes per year, so a loss here and there isn't a "job"... it's just a way to keep a storyline going. If it was on PPV, now we'd have something...
But anyway, Shawn has been losing his fair amount of matches recently, so he doesn't seem to have a problem with putting guys over now.

I thought that's what the term was when someone was going to loose. "they're doing the job tonight" "counting the lights" etc.

The "everyone knows that HBK dosen't like to job" stuff is just propoganda that continues to this day about the HBK of 12 years ago.

I've always drawn a distinction between "doing the job" and "jobbing". For example, Val Venis is always jobbing, because you know he's not going to come away with the win. HBK does the job because you always think he'll have the possibility of winning...unless, of course, it's a title match. Then he's jobbing.

I have to say i don't see why anyone would believe this story. At what point would it get reported? Rajah Special Undercover Reporter: Rajah, come in Rajah this is SwallowBreeze. OverRajah: I copy SwallowBreeze, what have you got for me? OverRajah Special Undercover reporter: We have unconfirmed reports that Shawn Michaels didn't complain when he was told to job to Jeff Hardy. OverRajah: This is good stuff SwallowBreeze, we'll run with it. Over.Really it's just made up nonsense. I could make up a story that has no basis on it based on the last episode of Raw. Watch... Word backstage at Raw last week is that Vince is planning for a Vince vs Finlay in a 'who's the Daddy' match-up with the winner getting custody rights for Hornswoggle. It's just pish-tosh it really is. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for everybody's favorite game: Make up the NEWZZZZZ!!!! Vince is said to be very happy that Stephanie has become pregnant again. There is talk that he may scrap the Burchill/Lea incest angle if he's able to convince Stephanie to do the incest angle that he wanted to do the last time she was pregnant. With all the recent buzz about Undertaker and Michelle McCool, there is the possibility that Vince may want to bring in Sara for a short program, turning a real life situation into a storyline similar to what happened with Edge, Matt, and Lita a couple of years ago. It is said that Edge's wife has to approve all skits involving Edge and Vickie Guerrero. After what happened between Edge and Lita, Edge's wife is doing whatever she can to make sure he doesn't stray again. It's also rumored that the only reason Edge is allowed to do the skit at all is because Vickie is quite unattractive.Am I playing this game right?
