Leaping Lanny getting busted open by an Andre headbutt was an awesome moment. Back when no one bled on television, it was something to see.

Read my Sig Baby!, (Although technically it was on "The Main Event" on a Friday, it's still cool)

There was one episode where Hogan fought Bundy and Andre came in after the match and choked out Hogan. It felt like a huge, historic moment at the time. During the end credits, they replayed the footage to Phil Collins' "Take Me Home."
I also liked how whenever the tag belts were defended on the show, it was usually Best-2-of-3. Made it seem really special.

Here's the footage of Andre choking out Hogan, a memorable moment indeed: www.dailymotion.com/video/x25rbl_hulk-hogan-vs-king-kong-bundywwf-ti_sport

Andre winning the title from Hogan because I watched it with my entire family and I was 8 years old. My family never really cared for wrestling and it was just a cool environment to be a part of.
Also Brain Busters v Demolition

I remember that match for Hogan busting out a superplex off the cage They did the same spot on Hulkamania 4, which was from a house show. They must have done it for all their cage matches. The Main Event was excellent for three straight years. First was Hogan/Andre in 88, then the Mega Powers break-up in 89, and then the last Hogan/Savage match on free WWF TV (I think) with Buster Douglas replacing Tyson as the outside ref in 1990. Those are my favorite memories because I was so hyped up for each show at the time (especially Hogan/Andre).

I wish they'd release a DVD box set of all the Saturday Night Main Event shows. If they could compile 20+ years of Wrestlemanias, Royal Rumbles and Summerslams, I'm sure they could do the same for SNME.

The formation of The Mega Powers. Yeah. I always loved wrestling, but this show was special. I was absolutely giddy with excitement when it came on and this moment in particular stands out in my mind.

Orndorff/Hogan cage match. Not only is this my fondest SNME memory but to this day the best match I have ever seen.
Another favorite memory was Adrian Adonis coming from the crowd in a dress and attacking Piper.

During the end credits, they replayed the footage to Phil Collins' "Take Me Home." I didn't listen to music as a kid, I hated it actually. When I heard that the first time, I thought he was singing "Take Me Hulk" looking back, that idea sounds kinda gross.

Hogan/Orndorff in the cage. Lucky kid was I, that was the first pro wrestling match I ever saw.
And yes, I agree with the poster who wants the SNMEs on DVD. That and the COCs on DVD would make me most happy.

Which event did Earthquake squash Hogan at Brother Love's show? If it was SNME, then it certainly is my favourite.

it may have been b4 my time or i dont rememember.. i know i started watching in 87.. how did the mega powers form.. gimme details pls Savage challenges Honky for the IC title. Honky's on the verge of losing the belt when the Hart Foundation interferes. The three of them beat the crap out of Savage, and Honky wallops him over the head with a guitar -- but not before shoving Elizabeth to the mat in what may have been the WWF's first example of violence against women. Elizabeth runs to the back and returns a minute later dragging Hogan, who looks confused. His eyes then bug out of his head when he sees the 3-on-1 attack, so he clears the ring, Savage expresses his thanks, and we get the first of several hundred exaggerated handshakes.
