He doesn't seem to be causing backstage problems, as I recall, so I guess the doors are still open for him to return.

Because Masters violated the wellness policy twice and was caught, and he wasn't good enough or over enough to merit WWE putting up with. I'm not an Orton Defender, but he is over whether I or anyone likes him or not. Chris Masters was no where near the main event.
As for the useless divas, I don't like them either although I really have no idea what they have to do with Chris Masters. This seems like two threads for the price of one.

"Useless Divas"? Broad brush, much? Just because some are useless doesn't mean you have to lump the talented ones in as well.

Do people want to have sex with Chris Masters?
No, they do not.

Oh, and there was even a rumor that he was being looked at for a possible role on American Gladiators next season. Imagine his Gladiator name.

Do people want to have sex with Chris Masters? No, they do not. I'm sure someone would. Like gay men.

I always love this argument. Like it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a lot of muscles by spending a ton of time in the gym. I mean, of course the reason Trips and Cena pass drug tests is because they're protected and not because they just spend half their life on a weightbench. Well, spending half your life on a weightbench won't gain you big muscles. You can only train that much, another 2 hours won't help it. I don't even think that Cena and HHH are properly tested, while I think that HHH is OFF the stuff (or at least reduced the usage), Cena on the other hand after that injury may be getting prescribed recreational drugs. My opinion on steroid use is: legalize it! Wrestling is no competitive sport anyway, hell it isn't even a "real sport" it's "sports entertainment". Just like in bodybuilding (you don't see them dieing like flies) they should just go with, but not start stupid campaigns against drugs.

I never liked Masters in-ring ability, but the man did take the effort improve over time and he played his character well.

Im just pointing out something. Why does it always seem like I am complaining? This is a shot in the dark, but... because you're always complaining? You just won 48 internets. Congrats!

Im just pointing out something. Why does it always seem like I am complaining? It's because so far you've only started negative topics. If you stick around here and start to post a variety of topics, your reputation will change. As for the subject at hand, I think releasing Masters is for the best. He clearly had some drug issues, but perhaps more importantly, he needed more experience, both in life and in the ring before being ready for the big stage. I think the guy has talent, but he was very very young and definitely not ready for WWE. If he continues to wrestle and improve I'm sure we'll see him again someday.

Have any of the Divas actually been caught with drug related violations yet the way Masters was

Give him some time in Japan and I think he could develop into a decent upper midcard worker. One thing I respect about him is when he got released, in interview and the like he was very honest and just blatantly said "Yeah, I got fired cuz I f***ed up" he didn't start blaming WWE or saying he didn't deserve it. I'd be surprised if he wasn't back in a year or two

I always enjoyed Masters. Was the best? Hell nos. But he always tried and did improve over time. Not only that but he's still a young dude so I see nothing but a bright future ahead of him.

I've always liked Masters, but I can't really argue with them releasing him based on the given circumstances. Dude needs to go to Japan, it worked wonders for Tomko. He went from being quite terrible to pretty darn awesome and one of my favorite guys to watch in just a couple of years. Never woulda imagined that, ergo I think that could help Masters as well.

Yep, Giant Bernard and Tomko improved leaps and bounds when they started working Japan as they both had to really hustle to look good over there. I'm sure Masters could improve through this but he would also need to create a more interesting character.
