Through an unusual twist of event I will be spending the day of wrestlemania with The Honky Tonk Man. If you have any questions you would like to ask him, now is the time to speak up. If you are in driving distance of Fort Wayne, In, let me know and I willl set up some time to meet him (Free for my wrestlecrap brothers and sisters). Lets keep it serious as I dont have much time to wade through "the crap".

What really happened with Jerry Lawler and that underage girl?
Does he still talk to Jerry?
When the Ultimate Warrior squashed him in 2 seconds for the Intercontinental Title was he bitter about that situation?
Will he ever work for the WWE again?
I know from the Pick Your Poision DVD that Jake Roberts was legitimately messed up from a guitar shot, so were his guitars loaded after or before that? Were they fake or did he just take the strings out and smash people over the heads with them?
How did he feel about the Rockabilly gimmick?
What is his opinion on the current indy scene? (ROH and such)
What is his opinion on WWE/TNA?
Would he ever work in TNA?
What was his favorite rib when he was in WWF?
How much drug abuse went on in the WWF in the late 80s?

Are you related ain any way to Lodi?
Did you get to keep your Intercontinental Title Belt?
What was your favorite match?
What's your opinion on Jimmy Hart? Was he fun to work with?
Is that you singing in Cool, Cocky, Bad?
If and when you play wrestling videogames, do you play as yourself? You're my favorite character in WWF Wrestlemania, btw.
Do you think anyone will ever beat your record length IC Title reign?
As the best IC Champion of all time, hat do you think of the status of the Intercontinental Championship today?
Do you prefer Ti ghts, like you wore at, sya, Wrestlemania 4, or one-shoulder singlets like you wore at, say, Royal Rumble 1998? I hope I'm not getting my terminology wrong.

It was Honky's idea to have himself get squashed in less than 30 seconds as he knew he couldn't carry Warrior like Savage or Rude could.
It was highest payday in the WWF.
It is him singing the "Cool, Cocky and Bad" theme that he's known for, but he doesn't know the name of the original theme he used that he entered with at Wrestlemania 3 as he's asked that often.

Lot of good questions. I will ask him all of them. I will still ask him the guitar question and post his answer, but I know his guitars were never loaded. You cut the strings and then load up a plastic baggy with flour for the "poof". I get to take a guitar shot from him as part of the appearance I set him up with. (Can't wait!!).

ask him if he's still hating on Piper and why does he hate JR? Don't know about Piper. But in the Youshoot, he explains how JR and Lawler were trying to sabotage his commentary career. He said most of the time his mic wouldn't work properly and that was probably because of them.

I thought it was "That's Alright, Honky Tonk Mama" I tried searching for it, couldn't find it though. Who did the song? No clue. Actually I'm not even sure if that was it or not. Honky mentions that he's going to perform his "hit song that Elvis stole from me 'That's Alright, Honky Tonk Mama'" during that Snake Pit that sets up his match with Jake at WM3. It's also listed as his theme music on answers.com The only videos I've been able to find that were from this era had the music so low that you can really hear much of it.

I've always wondered since they did their 'Face Off with' shoot interview:
What is Honky Tonk Man's personal opinion of Raven both inside the ring and outside of the ring? Is he a fan of Raven's?

Actually, This is cool, and I would like to know this if he chooses to respond:
In a wrestling match in the WWE, how much input or say did he have creatively for his charactor and matches? Did he get to do what he wanted in his matches or did he just have to follow orders? Did he get to decide what he'd wear and act like or was it created for him?
Also, I'd like his thoughts on how he would compare the wrestler's creative freedom from the 80's era to today (If he would know about it today).
One final question, In the WWE (during his era) I know that there are different stages to a match ( like "the heat", "the comeback" ect..), I want to know on what basis it decided how those stages of the match went. For example, If one wrestler that was playing heel had a 4 minute "heat", and another heel in another match had a 10 minute "heat", why is that decision made? Is it because the agent/booker (or whoever) thinks that wrestler B is better than Wrestler A?
