I have a question concerning a gimmick for a debuting lady in WWF/E.
Is it just me or was there a gimmick where a women's wrestler would start as a masked guy beating lower carders on Heat, Velocity or something like that.
Has there ever been that gimmick or is my memory playing tricks on me? Somehow I think there was some woman who did that, but I'm not quite sure. Does anybody know anything about it. who she was and who she beat and if or how she was demasked? I am confused now.

Yeah there was a developmental girl (Shantelle Taylor I think) who did this in dark matches but, was released before it hit TV.

Chinya should've worn a mask. FIXED Just kidding Joanie, I love you. (even if you hate me and everyone else) But no, I don't believe she ever did. Although if I said I'd chronicled her career, I'd be lying.

Thanks, that was the one! www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/profiles/s/shantelle-taylor.htmlAnd it was Noble. I initially thought of Noble and that he jobbed to a girl at some (low) point of his career.

Hell, that Nidia girl used to kick the crap out of Noble always when they were "an item" or whatever. Also, I don't know you could say that's the low point in his career if there's no high point. If there is, what is it? Jamie-san? Pitbulls Part 2 Version 1? Poor guy needs a break. I like him.

Well, if you count outside WWE, I'd say Noble's high point would definately be winning the ROH World Championship.
Honestly, though, I'm not particularily against a woman beating a man in pro wrestling, as long as the woman in question is talented enough, and it's booked smart(like, the woman using speed and/or smarts to catch the male opponent by surprise).

Yeah, Shantelle, who sadly never got a chance to run with the gimmick. Probalby the most talented woman's wrestler WWE had under contract at one point. She could have hung with the guys, honestly, and I'd have believed it.
