I've always been a fan of Chavo the worker. I mark for his theme music. He's a decent talker when he was someone to banter with (either Uncle Eddie or Chavo Classic) or is pre-recorded (Los Guerreros vignettes) but live his promos are limp.

I always thought he should have gotten the Rey push when Eddie died. He was the guys nephew afterall and his style is a lot more like Eddie's than Reys is. I'm not saying they should have gave Chavo the WHC, but keeping Chavo as babyface who goes out to honour his late uncle every night and gets the ocassional upset win (like against JBL at the Smackdown tribute show) would have been nice and a better alternative to the trainwreck that was Rey's WHC run.
It also bothers me to no end when Cole labels it "dissrespectful" whenever Chavo does the three amigos but not when Rey does it. Not sure if that's still going on as I don't watch a lot of Smackdown, but it happened a couple of times.

Thank god I'm not the only one around here who thinks Chavo is great. Seriously, that man needs more love then he gets.

Outside of Pepe obviously, never liked him in WCW.
His cruiser runs in WWE though I liked him a lot. He's a hell of a wrestler if not a little bland, but I've been a fan of worse wrestlers.

I'm digging Chavo's ECW title run and am glad he's finally getting used up to his potential even if it is on WWE's C-show.

i think chavo rules. his feud with punk has really sold me on him. their styles compliment each other so well. chavo can put on brilliant matches when required, but he always gets compared to eddie or gory, and people overlook him because of that. i think his ecw title run gives him the chance to overcome that, and it's great to see him being given the ball and running like hell with it.
but he needs new music.i could do without hearing "EEEEEEEEEEEEWWW CHAVOOO!" on a weekly basis.

I may be in a minority but I always liked Chavo, even more than Eddie when I compare the two. I dunno, I think I can relate with some one living in the shadow of their relatives. But more to the point, he's a great wrestler, has had great fueds with Rey, CM Punk, and I've always preferred his ground mat style.

I always preferred him as a goofy face like in WCW, he pulled it off really well. I just don't buy him as a "serious business" heel.
Despite that though, he's a great wrestler.

He is the best ECW champ since Lashley.

But more to the point, he's a great wrestler, has had great fueds with Rey, CM Punk, and I've always preferred his ground mat style. Eddy was an awesome mat wrestler too, duder. Watch his old ECW feuds with Dean-O or his WCW feud with Mysterio. Hell, watch his WM20 feud with Angle. Great chain wrestler. The man was a very well-rounded worker who could brawl, fly, chain wrestle, or take it slow. About the only thing he never really got into was hardcore matches, and as someone who is not a fan of hardcore style, I'm fine with that. He is the best ECW champ since Lashley. I know that's supposed to be funny, but I think babyface Punk was basically a perfect fit for new ECW. An Indy star with enough street cred to get smarks to pay attention to the brand, but smart enough to keep his nose clean and not make trouble backstage, basically a responsible enough guy to represent the company publicly. Though he's probably better chasing the title than wearing it.

Chavo's awesome. There's no doubt about it in my mind. I love that swagger he has in his voice and he does get heat. I love that fact that he finally won a tittle that isn't named Cruiserweight.

hes never inspired even the slightest interest from me since his wcw days, and even then i wasnt that interested, he may be an ok worker but theres just something about him that doesnt draw people to him
and aside from that, watching his match on ecw this week was the first time ive seen colin delaney face someone who id actually find it believable for him to beat, and the guys supposed to be the champion of the show, its ridiculous

I thought of that as more Colin being booked well than Chavo being booked badly.

He dragged the status of the ECW title down, imo...
