This week's Smackdown, how dumb was Michelle McCool to attempt a powerbomb-type move with Victoria being held upside down vertically when the mat was all slippery with water (it was a "wet and wild" match)?
I had flashbacks of D'Lo powerbombing Droz in 1999.

Well, given her lack of experience, you can't expect her to ad lib a spot without getting yelled at and forcing the crowd to watch them retape the segment.

I dislike the fact that less "qualified" diva workers are allowed to do that sort of move, and Jillian to do the 450 splash when the male workers, like Paul London aren`t allowed.

I thought it was stupid to rip off Christopher Daniels' Angel's Wings finisher standing in water, yes.
To be honest though, everything about Michelle McCool irritates me. She's so f***ing talentless, and I'm sick of seeing Victoria jobbing to her while making herself look like a buffoon. McCool is turning into the John Cena of women, and I have no doubt the only reason she's being pushed so ridiculously is because she's now riding Undertaker's hog, so to speak.

Let's see here..........Victoria is 37 years old and has won two WWE womens titles while Michelle is 28 and has only been in the business a few years. So going by the logic that I've seen on here countless times, Victoria had her push, won her titles, and should now be putting the younger talent over.........or does that only apply to those who are internet darlings like Victoria?
BTW, I love Victoria but I don't understand why everybody throws a fit over her. As for Michelles move, would anybody be complaining if Michelle did that move to say.....Kelly Kelly? I didn't think so.

Victoria seems to be having a great time these days.
It seems she likes to goof around, and gets a kick out of it.

I didn't think so. Well I would be, not just because I like her. But because I don't want anyone in that ring to face what might happen if that move had been botched. Holding someone upside down when you're barefoot on a slippery surface is a disaster waiting to happen

I didn't think so. It has been 1,386 days, or about 4 years since she last held the women's title (yeah, I just calculated it up). If you have seen how her career has been ever since her last reign, losing to just about every single woman that has been hired by WWE over the course of these 4 years, you can't help but feel sorry for her, even if we don't really know how she feels about doing this.

Everytime I see Michelle McCool, I lose more and more respect for Taker. He's tarnishing his business for a piece of ass.

I didn't think so. It's just that we don't want another worker breaking their neck, resulting in their career being over just because someone decided to do a dangerous move on an unstable surface. It doesn't matter if it's Kelly Kelly being hit with it or Mickie James.

I didn't think so. First of all, 37 isn't all that old by wrestling standards. Both Benoit and Eddie were winning their World Championships at about the same age, and nobody around here wanted them to job, or put over younger guys. Hell, Ric Flair was just entering into the greatest feuds of his career at about that age. For the wrestling business, 37 isn't nearly old enough to enter that stage of your career. Secondly, Victoria doing the job wouldn't be nearly as bad if she were jobbing to someone who actually had some real training, talent and a future.

I think people who give it the 'Michelle can't work' argument haven't actually seen her wrestle, because she's actually quite good as far as Divas go.

I agree that doing that move then and there was stupid, not to take anything away from McCool's ability in the ring. It doesn't matter who's doing that move to whom, I was really concerned for the person upside down at that moment.

In fairness, it takes two people to attempt said move.

was there ever a vid of the droz incident?? was it a house show? It was at a Smackdown! taping and was edited out of the show. They used to show Droz being loaded onto the stretcher and being taken out in the Don't Try This At Home stuff. I don't think the actually accident has ever been shown on WWE TV though.
