So if you've watched some of the older house shows on WWE's On-Demand service, you may have heard a gravely-voiced heel commentator named "Duke Doherty".
Tell me that guy doesn't sound EXACTLY like Murderface from "Metalocalypse".

That's actually Bruce Pritchard, he's doing both color and play by play.

A million miles from nowhere, a dragonlance burns hot. While the fire of a horse's ghost; a minnow would be lost. Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes Mmmmm, tits. A fish. A fish with tits. Tittyfish.

My favorite Murder Face moment right there. Also liked the earlier argument MF: I could of written those songs. Nathan: Yeah but you didn't MF: Yeah but I could of Nathan: But you DIDN't MF: BUT I COULD HAVE!!! Good stuff.

One of the creators/stars of Dethklok is Tommy Blacha, who used to write for Conan, and for WWF during the Attitude Era. And, he's the exact same fella who does the gravely voiced dude on Dethklok.

BTW, Conan (on his own show) also credited Dethklok's Tommy Blacha for penning the old WWF phrase "...a tall glass of shut the hell up", and I think he helped come up with a lot of Stone Cold and The Rock's most famous catchphrases during that time period.

That actually DOES sound like an early version of Murderface. Hmm...
