Not the greatest Raw, not the most important, but your personal favorite Raw from 1996 to now.
(One rule- make it a specific Raw. No going on about stuff along the lines of "any Raw when HHH got beat".)
Mine, I think was the Raw after Judgement Day 2000, showcasing Undertaker's return and Rock getting a measure of revenge on HHH's faction.

"Frustrated isn't the GD'd word for it. This is Bull..."-Bret Hart
March 17, 1997. It was the 2nd RAW is WAR after they basically reinvented the program and it was this moment that you knew that things were changing for the better in the WWF.

The Formation Of The Alliance. So many changes/turns/developments. The angle looked like it was going in the right direction.
It all went down hill soon after though.

The original ECW invasion 1n 1997 when they had individual ECW matches and Paul Heyman and Jerry Lawler got into a verbal debate.

There are too many great ones to make a definitive call, but I do know that the first that came to mind when I saw this thread was "Austin Has A Gun".
My favorite Raws always will be the ones with a running storyline throughout the entire show. The OP mentioned the one after Judgment Day which is up there for me as well in that same category.

While the aftermath left a lot to be desired, the simulcast when Vince bought out WCW was just such a strange, surreal show. Seeing Vince and Shane on Nitro, hearing the WCW wrestlers talk about Vince.... hearing Vince do a "Public hiring and firing" of the WCW roster in the ring.
It was a true, WTF moment.

The one where Mick Foley did the "This is your life" for the Rock. That was just hilarious, with both Foley and the Rock at their comedic best.

Either The one where Vince was in hospital with Mankind debuting socko and Austin threatening all show.
Or the latest anniversary show, a great nostalgia trip but only on fast forward due to some crappy matches.

There was an episode the night after Vengeance 2002 that started the buildup to Summerslam 02, which IMO is one of the greatest PPV's of all time. That night included:
-The teasing of a DX reunion that culminated in HHH turning on HBK, which no one saw coming.
-Brock Lesnar playing mind games with The Rock, including a really cool moment where Lesnar just ignored Rock on the way to the ring.
-A ladder match between Jeff Hardy and RVD.
-A fine match between Rock and Eddie Guerrero.
I don't remember all the moments and stuff, but top to bottom it was the best RAW I've ever seen honestly.

Also, WWE Homecoming as I was there and it was just an amazing show or the one where Mankind won his first WWE Title.

This is actually a difficult question. But a few come to mind:
- The episode after Judgement Day '98 when Austin held McMahon hostage and he pissed in his pants.
- The episode the Radicals debuted.
- The last Nitro episode.
- When the Alliance formed.

or the one where Mankind won his first WWE Title. I take back what I said, this is my pick. The Foley storyline goes through out the entire show in parts, as does the involvement of Shawn Michaels and DX. It may well be the perfect episode.

You know it has got to be good when your competitors go on air and tell ya about it.

The one where Austin crippled Bret Hart... that was just a badass episode. The opening Austin Promo, him hunting him down in the locker room, the street fight, the return of HBK to help, the beatdown in the ambulance, Austin's promo at the end, and the return of Brian Pillman to attack Austin to close the show. Watching that live had to be the greatest 2 hours of my life, and I had it on videotape and watched over and over for years afterwards.

Man this is tough one. But I'll go with the RAW the night after Judgment Day 1998. Mr. McMahon had finally fired Steve Austin the night before at the PPV and Stone Cold showed up and took McMahon hostage. All the backstage skits that night were great. Mankind trying to get Vince to play twister, Vince squealing like a pig and it all culminates with Vince pissing his pants and Stone Cold having his job back.
Honorable mention: The night after WrestleMania 14

Might have to change my vote.
