My prediction:
Double Main Event: Samoa Joe and Eric Young vs Kevin Nash and Kurt Angle Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong in a no DQ for the Women's title

I might take lots of heat over this, but seriously what is the point of giving any of these people (the ones with the brief cases) a heavy weight title shot? After all we know the title isn't going to change hands. Kurt has a death grip on the title, and it isn't going anywhere in the foreseeable future. With that said, there is little point in watching a title defense when you know the contender has zero chance of success.

There is a little thing you forget about in wrestling called a push... it worked for Kaz and hopefully it ends up working out for the briefcase guys. All the match has t do as add credibility to a wrestler, look at Kaz and Lethal. Jay went over on Kurt and is enjoying success, Kaz almost went over and is experiencing the main event push he needed to avoid midcard hell

while i agree with grbjazzman, i would like to add another benefit is seeing these people wrestle kurt angle. kurt puts on some really good matches and works very well with smaller x division style wrestlers. although petey is no longer x division. the maple leaf muscle must be at least super heavy weight.

But honestly (and I wont take credit for this statement, as i heard it elsewhere), if KURT FREAKING ANGLE is only getting you 30,000 buys, its worth the chance to stick a womens match in the main event. It would show that they are truly an alternative to WWE (adding to the fact that they actually have a tag division). It would 100% legitimize the belt. Hell, You may even capture a whole new audience (Women, Womens Wrestling Fans) in the meantime. Yeah, why not throw out a different main event occassionally? Two TNA PPV main events that weren't Heavyweight title matches immediately spring to mind: Triple X vs. AMW, Six Sides of Steel, Turning Point 2004 Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels, Unbreakable 2005 These two atypical main events were two of the best matches in TNA history.

After Thursday night's show I still have no idea what is gonna happen at this PPV The 10-man tag would've been better served as a PPV main-event. It was crammed with star power (& Eric Young & Robert Roode), but forcing it into a short timeframe on Impact made it too rushed. Over the course of a month we could've seen Christian & Angle's comradeship slowly crumbling rather than the 1-hour turn. Typical TNA booking, I suppose. I'm guessing that Christian might face Angle, Tomko or Roode at the PPV.

I'm guessing that Christian might face Angle, Tomko or Roode at the PPV. It probably would've been better on PPV but I don't think they should have gone 2 PPVs in a row without the World title being defended. I take back what I said now that I'm re-reading the Impact recaps. There's probably gonna be a 6 person tag between Hoyt/Rave/Christy vs LAX and their "mystery guy with the huge boobs...." Kim and Kong will continue but I knew that before Impact. I said this during the PPV but I really think that VKM are gonna get the tag title shot. Petey has no partner, Rick Steiner has disappeared, and Triple X vs AJ/Tomko is what everyone wants to see....so it's obvious that TNA won't give anyone that . Also them failing to win the titles could be what finally splits VKM up. It's just a matter of if that winds up on PPV or an Impact. I have no clue where they're going with the World title. Sharmell and Karen fought which would say that Booker is getting a shot already. But the way the show ended would seem like Christian is getting a shot. The other faces just seem to be filler. I'm probably gonna go with them doing an angle where Christian has to make it through the rest of the Alliance to get to Kurt. So if that's true he'll wind up facing Roode at the PPV with Booker getting the World title shot.

Actually Angle vs Joe I made 60.000 buys and that's their record, how can you expect Angle to sell when he's dressed as a pilgrim and made to argue with his wife all the time. Put the womens match on main event, it's something the fans can get into atleast because they know who's fighting, whats on the line and why.

It needs to be for the belt, we already have Scott Steiner as a contender for it.
