I don't know what happened to Harris. In '04 (I think) during his push against Jarrett he seemed fired up and the crowd was behind him. He becomes a full time singles wrestler and bam *crickets*

Weren't people saying before that Harris could have been TNA champ? I seem to remember seeing thread titles like that, but i never read the threads, so i'm not positive they were serious or not.
But even so, he's certainly a solid worker. Not sure he'll get anywhere, but we'll see.

Wow of all the guys to suddnely leave tna and sign with wwe I would never guess Harris. I mean the dude has been with tna since day 1 and the he jsut up and leaves? And yet Low Ki is still wrestling matches. The World is a funny place.

I've always liked him. He's a strong worked who got lost in the shuffle after feuding with Storm. I thought he was the stronger hand (not by much) of AMW.

Judging by the last guy who quit TNA, Harris's last Impact appearance will be three years from today.

Basically everyone was like "OMG I LOVE DRUNK JAMES STORM HE MUST BE CHAMPION NOWS" Ok not entirely, there was also the fact that the writing staff did almost nothing with Chris Harris following the dissolving of AMW.

Maybe his character convinced him to leave?
"You know...Angle DOES get a lot of time while I get very little. Yeah...why WOULD I want to be in a match where I could get fired. This makes a lot of sense..."

Damn, he really was pissed about that lack of tv time then huh. Wouldn't you? I think it's a chance for him. He was AMW's Marty Janetty in TNA and going nowhere while Storm seems to have a bright future ahead if they don't drop the ball on him. WWE will probably repackage him with a new name and gimmick. He is a good worker and if done right could get over. If Storm had left I would have rioted on Godzilla proportions.

Well, that was somewhat out of the blue. It's not a big deal, out of the two I always thought Storm was the one with the real potential and could never really understand why TNA seemed to think Harris was the one to push for a long time. I hope Harris does well and makes a ton of money in WWE, but I don't watch it, so I won't be seeing him.

Harris was pretty bland as a face, but is a decent heel. I could see him with a Pillman-type loose cannon shooter gimmick.

I'm rather confused with this...
I was sure that Harris was liked here after his match with Storm. And Storm was the one hated for the bland drunk gimmick.
When did this change?

I liked Chris Harris a lot when he and James Storm were AMW. Since they broke up, he's been pretty blah. I think his style and look (well, his slimmer look since it looks like he's packed on a few recently) fits the WWE pretty well, so (if this is true) it'll be interesting to see what he can do there.

Chris Harris had the good matches against Christian Cage and others.
James Storm became the DRUNK-LARIOUS drinking champion. Therefore, people liked Storm better. Then Chris Harris became a whiner. ...well, at least Samoa Joe is here to pick up where Harris left off.
