So this is probably a negotiation tactic. Can't say I blame him for testing the waters elsewhere. Even being a mid-level guy on ECW would probably pay him more than he's currently getting being a low level guy on TNA. Well of course it would pay better--look at the kind of money both promotions bring in each year, and tell me they'd be the same. My question is, would he end up being used in WWE, or even *gasp* made interesting somehow?

The problem is, Chris Harris just lost everything that was interesting about his character. During AMW, both Harris and Storm were the cowboys. That is what made them stand out from the rest of the roster, and that is what everyone knew them by.
Then they broke up AMW. Storm got to keep the cowboy persona, and Harris became generic. On top of that, Storm became an over-the-top drunk to boot, and Harris still was stuck at being just generic.
Harris isn't a bad wrestler or anything, in fact he was pretty good from what I could remember. I still remember in 2005 AMW and the Naturals were putting on tag wars that used to damn near steal the show. It's just once they stripped him of an identity, he basically fell off the map.

Plus, Harris got out of shape fast. He had a gut the size of Texas last time I saw him. Compare his physique in the Summer to now and there's been a huge difference.

Yet, Senshi, Rick Steiner, and Double J remain. Didn't Homicide and Abyss also quit recently over issues unrelated to Harris & Killings?

So he's been wished the best of luck in his future endeavours. Up there in a little town in Connecticut.

Where in the world did you hear that? - About a year before imPACT got their TV deal on Spike, it was rumored that Abyss had quit the company, yet was still showing up at PPVs, TV tapings, etc. - Right around the time Homicide came to TNA (and throughout his tenure), it was always reported that he was unhappy and just quit.

Ah gotcha, I thought when you said recently you meant the last few weeks or something.

you know how huge it is that Chris Harris is leaving and signing with WWE?
on at least 2 newz sites I saw a headline that read "Storm's departure confirmed"

If he is gone TNA lucked-out in terms of his current angle. A whiner on a losing-streak going to the E doesn't hurt like somebody who is actually getting a push.

What next, TNA? Their own families? Themselves? Or maybe Chris Harris' contract expired and TNA instead released James Storm.

Harris is a big ball of boredom. Agreed to the nth degree. Can you say "Heat jobber" several times in a row?

I don't know much about this Chris Harris, but I hope that he gets in a first blood match just so we could hear this
