I don't like how episodes of Impact have actual titles. Makes it seem like more of a sitcom/soap opera then it already does.

"Speaking of unoriginal what's up with Black Machismo??The guy's got talent why does he need to copy Randy Savage?I thought that would be a temporary joke thing but he's still doing it.Come up with your own persona! There's only ONE Macho Man and he had his day!" I don't get the love for the bad parody gimmick. I think as a whole it should be Wrestlecrap. True words about Randy Savage. There is only one Macho Man. Theres is only one Stone Cold too. But you have to respect the fact that it's over. It really doesn't matter if you don't like it, because the majority of people do, and that's what means it's not Wrestlecrap. I don't like Stone Cold Steve Austin. I never did, and I never will. But it's over. And people like it. Thus, it's not Wrestlecrap, or a bad idea. And Shark Boy got way louder cheers doing his Stone Cold thing last night then he's got in a really long time.

You don't like TNA? Don't watch it and get the hell out of the forum then. Jeepers Christy! He's didn't say he hates TNA. He's talking about parts of TNA that he hates. He just stated that he likes TNA better than WWE. Which isn't saying much when you consider how much some of the users hate WWE. I honestly wonder how many of such people actually watch any wrestling. As for real-life storylines, are you insane? Wrestling is ridiculous! I personally love the WSX-exploding-coffin-ridiculousness. Austin wasn't realistic, he got fired on a weekly basis and kept coming back. And Hogan? You think lightly resting your leg on someone's face, albeit at a dropping speed somewhat less than terminal velocity, is going to make a guy stay down for a three count? Wrestling isn't real. It's just fun. And if you're looking for fun and realism, then step away - as for TNA's idiotic storylines, yeah they suck. But as I always say - at least they push the boat out there. If you don't like them enough to even laugh at their idiocy, then change the channel for those segments.

Did ya see his promo last night? That's why. He's a smurfing wall without it. funny, as last night when he spoke i said to myself "i guess thats why he has the machismo gimmick..." my only problem with TNA is that they seem to only know 3 storylines. we have macho impersonator, and if he goes away they have an austin immitater in the wings. they do a 'roode owns eric young', then that ends and we have roodes owns ms brooks, as thats ending we have angle wants to own AJ. then the masked LAX member is revealed, only to be replaced by kongs masked friend. not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, i guess.

If you don't like them enough to even laugh at their idiocy, then change the channel for those segments. yes wrestling has always been a little on the ridiculous side especially to those that don't watch or understand it.There are some exceptions but as I stated earlier there's a fine line between making it look believable and making it look blatantly fake. I for one take wrestling very seriously and can't tolerate phony skits like the Shark boy segments. When done right the "fake" world of wrestling can be done in such a way that its so believable, people who watch it will take it very seriously.Check out the 4 Horseman DVD where it shows how they "Hired" a camera man to ride with them and film them attacking Dusty Rhodes & breaking his arm.It was done very well and looked real.So real in fact, Viewers wanted criminal charges brought against the Horseman. It made people want to buy tickets to arenas to see Dusty get his revenge on the Horsemen. If that attack were done today, they'd show the Horseman riding in the car with no explanation of why a cameraman is in the car with them(with 3 different angles in and outside the car) as they'd plan to attack Dusty and then the attack would be filmed with multiple camera angles and not appear to be so real. It would look more like a scripted TV show. Yes Wrestling is scripted as we all know but do you see the point I make by how easy it is to make it look real? You have to think how this could happen if it was real life and for many years that's how "True" professional wrestling was portrayed even if some of the wrestling characters may be a little over the top. When the NWO originally invaded WCW viewers in the local areas were calling the police to stop the attacks in the venue.Again, that's how "True" Professional wrestling is to be portrayed. The real life like drama that sucks you in and makes you want to see the heels pay for their misdeeds.

Gimmick matches. Pacing. WCW-feel. When every wrestler's music hits, it shows their video, and then cuts to the Impact Zone. It just makes me think that if they used that for one or two wrestlers, it'd be plausible. Do I really need to see Bobby Roode's or Rock/Rave's video before they come out?

I enjoy TNA as a wrestling fan, heck as I have said in other threads I prefer Impact to both Smackdown and ECW. There are a few things that I don't like about TNA though.....
1. A.J. Styles as a yes man: I don't understand how a guy who has been the champion of the promotion gets turned into a whiny yes man for Kurt Angle. Also the former champ is being humilitated and put in Turkey outfits.
2. No Mid-Card Belt: I posted a thread on here last week asking if anyone felt that TNA needed another belt. While some agreed many didn't. I stick by the former because I feel that the mid card is lacking a TV/US Type title to go along with the X-Division title.
3. Too Many Gimmick Matches: I enjoy fun stipulations and stuff like that, but sometimes they just do too much of it.
4. Don West: I like Mike Tenay, but Don West not so much.
5. Failure to push new talent when they get chances to: When Kaz fought Angle I felt that even in the loss it did enough to make him a legit threat for the title. Nothing ever seemed to come about after this.
As for Jay Lethal, I like his Black Machismo gimmick, and I think he does a great job with it. With Sharkboy, it is about time they gave the guy something to do where he didn't get made out to look like a loser. Plus that fake Stone Cold theme is pretty funny.

No TNA bashing by WWE fans said the moderator dammit! Read the original post, it's not a TNA bash thread, people are just voicing their opinions on some things about the company they don't like. They aren't bashing.

Angle, Dudleys, Black Rain, Don West. jeramy Borash, WWE rejects. So if someone is no longer employed by Place A (for any number of reasons), and moves on to Place B just to pay their bills & feed their families, can we go to Place A and mock them for being "rejects?" Is Ric Flair an NWA reject? Is Hulk Hogan an AWA reject who was originally a WWWF reject? Is the Ultimate Warrior a WCCW reject? Is Bret Hart a Stampede reject?

Is Ric Flair an NWA reject? Is Hulk Hogan an AWA reject who was originally a WWWF reject? Is the Ultimate Warrior a WCCW reject? Is Bret Hart a Stampede reject? Those examples come from the early-mid 1980's. There were still territories back then. There was no internet. The smark population was like 34, and for example; the Warrior wasn't exactly the Ultimate Warrior when he was in WCCW. Vince bought out Stampede Wrestling, Bret came with it. Hogan was AWA's guy, and Verne totally dropped the ball on it; and the same went for Flair. I wouldn't consider Angle a WWE reject, simply because he went to TNA and owned the entire roster. Black Reign, the Dudleyz, those are the definition of guys who should have ended their careers in WWE with dignity, rather than going to a growing company to take up two or three spots that would have better suited some younger talent to showcase. Did Bret steal someone's spot? No. He was still young. Same with Warrior. Same with Hogan. They weren't who they were until WWE, and there's really no disputing that. But that's just my opinion. -metylerca

The new trend of TNA giving episode titles ("Prince for a Night", "Never Forget Samoa Joe", etc.) bugs the hell out of me. Are they trying that hard to make Impact look like a sitcom?
What makes it even worse is that it makes it even more obvious that it's a pre-taped, pre-produced show, yet they try to give it the "live" feel by cutting to commercial in the middle of matches. It's unnecessary.
