This just occurred to me while watching TNA (on DVR) tonight. The TNA crowd gives absolutely NO pop to the wrestlers when they come out. When that music hits, you hear pretty much nothing. For example when Kaz came out, I could probably hear a dozen people giving some faint "wooooo" to his music hitting.
I just wonder why that is. Why does the TNA studio audience give NO reaction to the music hitting and the wrestlers coming out.
Though I will say, during the matches, the crowd at times is good at keeping some noise going with dueling chants and what not, but thats about it. Even the chants now are getting more and more marky every week. You Suck!!!111 chants at Kurt Angle...come on.

Well let's put it this way, has TNA really, REALLY given anyone a reason to care about Kaz, beyond his very short push towards main event status?

It's a shame since I like Kaz and all, but why the hell would you have him win a tournament, decisively beat Christian in his "signature" match, and get a shot at the TNA World title...only to then push him down the card and have him feud with carl winslow Black Reign...and then expect people to care?

Aren't two or three shows taped at the same time in front of the same crowd? There is a possibility that they simply are in the state of mind that "Oh, well, it's Kaz again...."

I think they just got bored, they assume that TNA is theirs. You gotta switch taping locations from time to time and it really would help to tape only one show at a time.

Good ideas in theory, but in practice that probably would cost TNA alot of money they don't have.

Universal Studios, that pretty much explains everything really.
They tape 2 or 3 shows at the same time, the regulars in the crowd are there for every single taping, and they also let in lots of people who don't know the product for free. Those things combined make for pretty weak pops.
House shows and PPV events outside of Universal are the places to see crowd pops for entrances and wins by wrestlers.

Concur with what everyone else says.
I do like the chants though. Its cool to hear people really getting into it and I bet the wrestlers like to hear it too. Reminds me of old WCW house shows that had dueling "nWo" and "WCW" chants.

yeah you gotta think the crowds pretty tired after 6 hours of Angle It would be 4 hours, actually. (ytw days of taping, with the send having 2 shows), and Angle only appeared about 3-4 times in those 2 weeks of tape.

I just wonder why that is. Why does the TNA studio audience give NO reaction to the music hitting and the wrestlers coming out. Unless you're Kurt Angle, Booker, or Christian the music and introduction music mostly sound alike The best music in TNA are the ones with the intros, Kong's drums, Joe's godzilla theme, the Dudley's WWE-knockoff.... The man has a point you know. It's a shame since I like Kaz and all, but why the hell would you have him win a tournament, decisively beat Christian in his "signature" match, and get a shot at the TNA World title...only to then push him down the card and have him feud with carl winslow Black Reign...and then expect people to care? Also yeah, there's one of the reasons TNA really does need a mid-card title belt. Seriously Kaz was on FIRE after he beat christian, don't know why he didn't continue to fued with Christian, or at the least fued with AJ, continue to build on his fued with Roode and Traci's continued falling for Kazarian. but um.. yeah there's a lot of real easy ways to book A Lot of guys in TNA...especially after pushing them hard. I'm a huge Kazarian mark btw.

Doesn't TNA have poor recording equipment? You wouldn't hear a pop as good on TNA as you would on Raw.

They should start rotating out the crowds like WCW used to do when they taped Worldwide in that same studio.
