Does anyone actually remember what he did the last time he was there? hint: HE GOT HIS ASS KICKED! That's all he did! He got punked out by pretty much half the roster when there! Oh, and the hypocracy here (TNA does it: "Crap! Oh my God! So Stupid!" ROH does the same damn thing: Awesome! They get publicity!") pretty much smells like 100% grade donkey crap. Except most of the ROH forums exploded with hatred when they announced he was coming.

Idea for a segment: the "Johnny Fariplay repeatedly gets the s*** kicked out of him stunt spectacular", in which every wrestler in TNA, and hell even some of the knockouts and refs, take turns viciously beating Johnny Fairplay. That would get them a 2 i think You know, when I read the first post I was like "Johnny Fairplay? Why bring that guy back? What could he possibly contribute?" And then I scrolled down and saw this, and I'm now convinced. I heard this rumor a few weeks back but now that Fairplay is off Survivor and any fame he could have possibly had is most likely gone. Can someone explain to me how Russo keeps a job? I like this. Even when the first post tells you this is Dixie Carter's decision. Even though Dixie Carter is the head of the company and Vince Russo is just an employee of the company, that doesn't stop you from blaming it on Vince Russo. I know Russo is just the writer. He doesn't make the moves on who TNA signs. Stylesclash what you should really be asking is how TNA is still in business with these kinds of moves. All you can blame Russo for is the crap that happens on Impact and stuff like making Pacman a champion when he can't be touched. Not for when TNA signs someone useless or someone we don't like.

Actually, you can't blame Russo for Pacman. That's all on Jarrett. He brought him in, he promised him the title, and had to give it to him even when the officials said he couldn't be touched.

And honestly, I thought Russo (or whoever, but probably Russo because of the way it was booked) did one hell of a job booking a guy who couldn't wrestle as the tag champ. Granted, it was mostly predicated on Ron Killings flipping around like a damn madman, but nevertheless, that was one hell of a handicap to be saddled with, and they did a great job all things considered.

Yep the blame for that bonehead move rests squarely on the shoulders of Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter. And before somebody spouts off with the "Well it got you talkin' hur hur line" It may have got people talkin' but it damn sure didn't get people watchin'. Publicity don't mean shit unless it translates into money.

They should concentrate on getting Jerry Lynn back. You know, someone who can actually contribute.

I think he's being real. If not, then I am. Jerry Lynn's last run really disappointed me.

I think the entire Jerry Lynn situation was a prodcut of the X-Division on the decline. TNA hasn't really given the division a chance to recover ever since Joe threatened to eat the division. Ever since Joe, TNA has really been stuck with the booking formula of sending the monster to wreck it (Joe, Nash, Team 3D, possibly Scott Steiner is next).
The problem with that formula is that it could also lead to Kong wrecking the Women's Division in the long run.
