it's more of an homage to Val Venis though

He needs to win some decent matches before anyone will buy him as a credible threat. Roode vs. Jarrett? Roode's brushed up on his ring-work & his promos are coming along nicely. He can do the "difficult" things with ease... But his bad 1980s perm & Terry Taylor ring-robe have GOT to go! Consider this, Roode is currently the most over member of the former Team Canada. Never would've thought that possible back when the team were still around. Ya I'd say if he just got rid of the retro look he'd be much better off. The permullet and sparkly robe just don't work anymore. They also need to finish his "picks on women" thing, it has been worked to death. I'd do that then give him a taste of the uppercard and see if catches-on.

.......he's really the only pure heel in TNA...... this describes best why i love Robert Roode. Always been a supporter.

I can not stomach watching Roode. I don't know what it is about him, but I just hate him.

I think JBL is the only other person who is able to get emotion, raw heel heat from the fans. Roode plays his role very well and I'd pay to see a Roode vs. Joe feud for the belt.

I despise the SOB.........so he gets a thumbs up because I judge the characters, not the people portraying them.

He's one of the few guys in TNA who can get legit heat.
Thumbs up.

Big thumbs up from me.
One of the best Heels in TNA and one of the few TNA guys that I would see making an impact in WWE (out of the ones that have not already been there that is)

Since there isn't a thumbs in the middle option, I'll pick Thumbs up. He's gotten better now that he has replaced Traci Brooks. I like that he has gotten more violent. I'm just not sold on his promo ability.

Thumbs waaaayyyyyyy waaaayyyyyyyy down! He's the most boring wrestler on the face of the earth. His ringwork is average, his look is outdated, and his promos bore me to tears. I have no idea why he even has a job in TNA because he honestly brings nothing special to the table. I turn the channel everytime I see his face on my tv.

Indifferent.
He use to be one of my favorite TNA talents, but over recent months I've grown bored with him, kinda like I have with Mr. Kennedy in the WWE. I still think there's a ton of potential in him, they just have to get him away from these long sweeping fued that tend to drag on and on. Personally, if Samoa Joe wins the TNA Championship at Lockdown, I'd love to see them two thrown into a short fued together.
