I'm voting in my own poll here, and I'm saying "no".

Any non X Pac heat reaction would be fine with me.

I'd think the boos were awesome because it'd give me leverage to turn heel. I'd always want to play a heel over a face any day.

I'd prefer a little consistency, but the only bad reaction is no reaction.

I'd prefer a little consistency, but the only bad reaction is no reaction. I see this theory thrown around on the internet a lot but don't believe it. What gimmick in the last twenty years has there been no reaction to? Every gimmick that the fans hate have always been booed not just ignored. Think about it. Fans have been booing bad gimmicks since the early 90s. I think it really started when the southern fans in WCW booed The Dynamic Dudes. I have a feeling that this is a Cena influence thread considering he is the only face can think of that is booed by people. I personally don't think Cena is over like he should be to be the top guy. I don't think he is a bad wrestler or anything like that I just think his gimmick could be much better. I honestly believe the only reason people don't like him is because of his gimmick. When he was a heel he had attitude and that is why he got over big time as a heel. Then when he became face he became the white meat babyface which doesn't work very well anymore. They should have had him keep his attitude much like Austin and the Rock did. They both acted the same as faces as they did as heels but Cena's gimmck almost completely changed and lost all the elements that originally got him over.

I'd think I was doing a bad job if I was getting booed.

I would rather the fans respond the way they wish, and hope the office is intelligent enough to pick up on it.

I'd be ecstatic to have the heat that Cena has, because you're making the company that much money, you're guaranteed a top spot.

if the crowd is maing noise then they're easy to ocntrol. i think jim cornete said that. basically, if they're booing you, you can play up to it. if they're cheering you, you can play up to it. if they're silent you can't play around with their feelings and make them cheer/boo louder because they don't care in the first place.

I`d love any reaction, a mixed reaction means you are effecting everybody

Better a mixed reaction than a Conway Pop. At least people would actually care about me. If there are more boos, I do more heelish things. If it leads to a full on heel turn, I'd have some fun with that.

I'd be tremendously pleased, since I'm a total heel. That means A) it's working, and B) people still like me.
In a perfect world, A) I don't die during wrestling school, B) I get over as a face and take a massive heel turn. In a perfect world, I'd A) make little kids cry when I turn, and B) not use this A/B device so much.

Work off those assupmtions.

And Cena is hella over, he gets awesome reactions, and he deserves his spot.

Any reaction is better than no reaction, but I'd still be wondering what's wrong with my persona, if I'm a face getting mixed reactions...
While probably the age of 99% cheers is long gone, very audible boos aren't a good thing IMO.

If I was a face getting very audible boos, I'd ask/hope if I could possibly change to a more tweener or heel persona. Heels are much easier roles to play, since with them any boos are good. A face getting booed isn't ever good IMO.

I realize that a bad reaction is better than no reaction. But it seems to me that if you're a face, and the crowd is booing you, than you are not an effective face. I think that a really good wrestler could be effectively over with the crowd as a face, as well as a heel. Like Shawn Michaels. If you can't pull off being a face than I don't think you have the total package as a wrestler.
