Does anyone know the deal behind Jay Lethal's "Black Machismo" gimmick? Did he get Randy Savage's blessing? Did Savage sell the gimmick to Lethal? Does anyone actually own this gimmick? I know McMahon prevented Jakks from making a "Macho Man" Randy Savage doll. Does that have anything do with TNA utilizing the gimmick?

It an impersonsion. Just like Stone Cold Shark Boy or back in ECW the BWO. The WWE not allowing the Savage finger because Savage and Vince are on very bad terms. There there is nothing that who need his blessing for. He not calling himself The Macho Man. He didn't change his name to Savage. The only thing he doing is talking like him and saying his known catchphrase but I don't think it trademarked by anybody. Can't really trade mark oh yeah.

I read somewhere before Stone Cold Sharkboy debuted that Savage liked it.

Can't really trade mark oh yeah. Didn't Kool-Aid actually tried to sue him over the catchphrase, "oh, yeah?"
