Three developmental talents released

World Wrestling Entertainment cut developmental talents Chris Gray, Tommy Taylor and Ryan Bishop yesterday. Gray and Taylor were British talents, described to me as fitting the Cruiserweight mold. I don't know much about Bishop beyond the fact he played for the New York Giants in the NFL.

Wow, that was quick for the football player. Guess he must not have picked things up well, or maybe his heart wasn't into it. Oh well, I don't think it did any harm on taking a flyer on a guy with a good athletic backgound and seeing what you can do with him. Haven't really seen the two UK guys to know if they're any good or not (although if I remember correctly Gray did a good job as "Hamlet Macbeth" against MVP on Smackdown! in his tryout match), I hope they hang on to Hade Vansen though.

A big shame about Gray and Taylor - I guess there's no future for cruiserweights in WWE then. Maybe they can be part of Team Britain in the World X Cup?

The only one of them I've really seen is Tommy Taylor, and I don't think it's to much of a loss.

Most of the UK names they picked up are never going to make any impact, including Vansen who just carries on sucking whenever he gets in the ring.
