At TNA lockdown it was 100% face victories. The faces won ALL the matches. Well Kip James beat down BG James after the match, but he still lost the match.
This is a very rare occasion, I think.

That is indeed odd, but didnt notice until now.
Just one of those weird occasions where the booking for each feud all ended up calling for babyface wins I suppose.

I thought about that last night as well. Sort of reminded me of a WCW PPV, probably Bash at the Beach 94 where all the heels went over just so that Hulk Hogan could look strong by beating Ric Flair in the main event.

So, basically what you are saying is TNA doesn't want Samoa Joe to look strong, haha. Just kidding. Personally, I would have preferred Team Tomko going over, but I understand the situation. Back in the old days a Cage Match usually signaled that end of a fued, so alot of these fueds needed to come to a proper end, and nine times out of ten the face always goes over when it comes to a fued ending.

Well, the difference is: WCW was crap then, while TNA isn't. WCW was formulaic predictable bullshit with a roided up old orange goblin defending his world title against "the odds" of super villains with zero credibility. If anyone accuses HHH of burying the midcard, they should watch old WCW tapes of back then. It was ALL about Hogan and it was ALL booked around Hogan. WCW was lightyears worse than TNA when it came to putting old WWF talent over their homegrown talent (just ask Steve Austin!). The outcome of the lockdown main event was predictable as well, but I had moments of doubt where I thought that maybe they bury Samoa Joe, since he was leaving (which he is not). Furthermore, I doubt that the Roode-Booker feud is over. End a feud by having your wife pin the bitch of your nemesis by rollup? Speaking of rollups: the feud between Kip and BG has just started. Lockdown doesn't end ALL feuds. However, I do think that Joe Vs. Angle is over for the time being. Joe will start a short feud against BIG POPPA PUMP, which unfortunately he will dominate (Steiner as World Champ would be awesome just for the promos).

I really thought BG James had no chance of winning last night. They promoted it like James didn't want to fight Kip and he hoped one day they could be friends. I imagined Kip kicking his ass and really making James angry only to get his revenge in a future rematch.
I also thought Morgan would double cross team Cage and help team Tomko win for sure.
