At this point, the first promotion to offer him a sombrero will be the one he goes to.

I have to agree, with Congress backing off from pro wrestling, joining the smaller company with a glut of talent it doesn't know what to do with probably isn't wise.

It would be better for both TNA and Masters if he doesn't go to TNA.

Send him to Japan; maybe it'll make him a better worker like it did Tomko and Albert.

Send him to Japan; maybe it'll make him a better worker like it did Tomko and Albert. Best idea yet. If anything, it'd be one of the better ways to get a second look from the WWE.

Send him to Japan; maybe it'll make him a better worker like it did Tomko and Albert. I believe that he is doing so already.

Yeah, he'd get lost in the shuffle. Not to say he's a great talent or anything, but he isn't as bad in ring as people make him out to be. He would be much better working the indy circuit and honning his skills until the WWE calls him up again.

How much you wanna bet Chris Masters leaked this. Youre guranteed a spot, much like Test and Rikishi. This sounds like Masters buying into his own hype. He def doesnt have to worry, since already WWE guys can go back to juicing.
There are many criticisms of TNA that can be made, but this "idea" that somehow if youve set foot in WWE youre guranteed a top spot in TNA is just stupid. Other than Angle and Christian, both hall of famers, who else is even REMOTELY getting a push that was in TNA thats older and made their name in WWE. And dont say Booker T or the Dudleyz, who made their names elsewhere.

VKM-Were pushed until the end of the Hemme saga, and pretty much don't do anything since then. Scott Steiner-Didn't win a damn match when he first joined, wasn't doing much better afterhe came back, and hasn't won any title since he's been here. Tomko: Cause he's GOOD!Bro-Kin(DX band guy): Are you kidding? Apparently getting some songs played in the adrenaline rush area is a push?!

Chris Masters sucks, frankly I'm happy that he isn't going to be the latest WWE cast off to jump on the TNA bandwagon.

He didn't specify whether or not they were STILL getting pushed or how long their push lasted or how good they ere. And I just like mentioning the former DX band because it makes me laugh.

Yes, it sounds like such a better idea for Chris to not get tied down to a regular paying gig or anything...

BG James is friends with Jarret and Kip happens to be his friend. They have also jobbed almost every match for the last few years. Sonjay pinned Kip James last week. Sure they have a "spot" but if BG wasnt close with the head guy, you think theyd have a job? Scott made his name in WCW and is close with the head guy. In wrestling you accept owners will hire their close friends. Tyson was an example of someone young whos career was not over the second WWE didnt feel like employing him any longer. So you can "name" people but in wrestling, wrestlers should be allowed to work in other promotions. The DUdlyez made their name in ECW, Scott and Booker T in WCW. Did WWE accept them as rejects or as strong workers? Its small minded thinking to think that once someone leaves WWE, their careers should be over.

And I think Black Canary makes her first appearance on Smallville next week. I too, am a huge Green Arrow mark.

I have to agree, with Congress backing off from pro wrestling, joining the smaller company with a glut of talent it doesn't know what to do with probably isn't wise. this is true. i could see masters improving in Japan, possibly doing tours in Mexico and England The thing with albert and tomko is that they improved so much, that New japan decided to sign them to contracts. i think tomko is still doing the contracted for a number of appearrances deal, but not the full on contract with TNA
